Abstract

This paper explains that the phenomenon of klitih in Yogyakarta is an action that is contrary to existing norms in society. The perpetrators of klitih who incidentally are students, enter into the trap of delinquency that causes victims. Actions that they do actually damage their own personality and unsettle for motorists at night. Besides that, it causes deep sadness that educational institutions have not succeeded in establishing good character for students and adolescents in this country, especially for perpetrators. This research connects the phenomenon of klitih in Yogyakarta with Max Weber's views through his two theories, namely social action and social change. This research is qualitative in nature with its descriptive analysis and through accurate sources. The results of this research are: First, the action of the perpetrators who do a kind of a game and as a form of recognition by their peers: Second, parents, educational institutions and the community are not optimal in providing supervision to adolescents and students, so that many teenagers in this epoch are involved on various delinquents; Third, the target of the clitih action is motorists who pass certain areas at night. Overall the phenomena that occur are consistent with Max Weber's theory that humans have an action done with a sense of emotion, prioritizing their own interests, so they no longer pay attention to existing norms and think irrationally.

Abstract

In this era social media has become a necessity in the New Life Style. Ease of access makes it increasingly loved by all circles, especially teenagers increased from 38% to 72%. However, there is often a misuse of social media by its users, this can be used as a benchmark for the internal condition of the family, lack of knowledge and supervision. However this is a big problem for millennial generation in the future because of the inaccuracy in the use of gadgets can affect cognitive, psychomotor and decreased performance. Basically all the things that are done by children are so that they can meet the five needs, namely; Physiological needs, Safety needs, Belogingness and loves needs, Estem needs, and Self-actualization needs. So that the fulfillment of all these needs can be an appropriate action in dealing with social media abuse.

Abstract

Terapi rasional emotif termasuk upaya konseling Islam dalam memperbaiki sikap dan kebiasaan remaja yang menyimpang, yang mana iasering melawan kepada orang tua. Terputusnya pendidikan, perilakuyang menyimpang dan pergaulanteman sebaya yang tidak baik serta lemahnya didikan agama orang tua kepada anak, menjadi penyebab rusaknya kepribadian anak, hingga pada akhirnya iatidak takut untuk melawan kepada orang tua. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Upaya yang konselor lakukan dalam membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi klien ini ialah dengan melakukan konseling Islam melalui teknik terapi rasional emotif, yang mana teknik ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki pikiran yang tidak rasional kepada pikiran yang rasional Hasil yang diperoleh dari upaya ini ialah remaja yang bersangkutan telah memperlihatkan perubahan sikap kepada orang tuanya, hal ini ditandai dengan pernyataan tetangga klien yang mengatakan bahwa telah jarang sekali terdengar si klien berkata-kata kotor kepada orang tua dan kesaksian teman sebayanya yang mengatakan bahwa si klien telah jarang keluar malam untuk begadang.

Abstract

For a long period of time, religion has become the object of study of experts. One of them is Max Weber. This article aims to study the Weber’s view of religion and its role in society. This research used the qualitative text method with the source of data which is collected through the study of literature, both in the form of books and research reports. For Weber, religion is a belief which is related to the supernatural powers. More then  just a belief, each of religion such as Islam, Christianity, Buddism, Judaism has the tradition that are different each other.  Beside that, religion is also strongly associated with the something of magical and universal.Agama telah menjadi objek kajian para ahli dalam jangka waktu yang cukup lama. Satu dari ahli tersebut adalah Max Weber. Tujuan tulisan ini adalah untuk mengkaji pandangan Max Weber tentang agama dan perannya dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif teks dengan sumber data penelitian yang diperoleh dari telaahan literatur, baik berupa buku, maupun laporan hasil penelitian. Bagi Max Weber agama merupakan sebuah keyakinan yang terkait dengan kekuatan supernatural. Lebih dari sekedar kepercayaan, setiap agama seperti Islam, Kristen, Budha, Yudaisme, memiliki tradisi yang berbeda satu sama lain. Selain itu,  agama sangat terkait dengan sesuatu yang gaib dan bersifat universal.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the steps and efforts made by counseling guidance teachers in carrying out group guidance activities with the aim of building courage to argue in the children of class VIII MTsS Al-Falah Kota Padang. This research is a field study using a qualitative approach. The subjects in this field study were 2 (two) counseling guidance teachers and 8 (eight) students of class VIII MTsS Al-Falah Kota Padang. Data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. As for data analysis using qualitative descriptive, the data that has been obtained is then compiled and classified so that it can answer from the problem formulation above. The results obtained from the utilization of group guidance services accompanied by the use of punishment that educates is that class VIII MTsS Al-Falah began to build the courage to issue opinions in group guidance activities. As a result, students are not afraid to be wrong in issuing their arguments and begin to venture to argue according to the topic discussed.
