Abstract

This study aims to examine the correlation between conflict management and personality types. The other aim is to examine the difference of conflict management style between the extrovert and introvert personality. The subject of this study are 63 students at social class on XIIth level in MAN 2 Bekasi City, contains of 23 male and 40 female. EPI (Eysenck Personality Inventory) with 56 items was used to divide the subject into the extrovert and introvert personality. Conflict management is measured with the modified version of 30 items CRSI (Conflict Resolution Styles Inventory). The results showed that the means of subject with extrovert personality type is 31,74, while the introvert one is 31,32. Pearson correlation test showed that p = 0,429 (p > 0,05) which means that no correlation between conflict management and personality types. Comparation by t-test result is p = 0,669 (p > 0,01), which means there is no difference of conflict management style between subjects with extrovert and introvert personality types. Abstract

Abstrak Semangat kerja adalah perasaan yang menyebabkan kesediaan pegawai untuk bekerja sama dalam melaksanakan suatu pekerjaan dengan giat sehingga pekerjaannya dapat dikerjakan dengan lebih cepat serta lebih baik ditunjukkan dengan adanya disiplin dan gairah kerja pegawai. Keadilan organisasi adalah suatu bentuk evaluasi pegawai terhadap keputusan yang diambil oleh atasannya berupa proses dan hasil dalam pemberian penghargaan yang adil sehingga muncul adanya keadilan distributif, keadilan prosedural dan keadilan interaksional didalam organisasi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi terhadap keadilan organisasi dengan semangat kerja pada pegawai divisi produksi PDAM Delta Tirta Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh, dengan jumlah subjek yaitu 105 pegawai divisi produksi PDAM Delta Tirta Sidoarjo. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05 (p<0,05) yaitu sebesar 0,00 yang diartikan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel persepsi terhadap keadilan organisasi dengan semangat kerja. Hubungan kedua variabel bersifat positif yang menjelaskan bahwa semakin tinggi persepsi terhadap keadilan organisasi, maka semakin tinggi pula semangat kerja. Kata Kunci: Persepsi, Keadilan Organisasi, Semangat Kerja, Divisi Produksi. Abstract The spirit of work is a feeling that causes the willingness of employees to work together in carrying out a work with enthusiasm so that the work can be done more quickly and better demonstrated by the existence of discipline and passionate employees. Organizational justice is a form of employee evaluation of decisions taken by their superiors in the form of processes and results in fair awards so that there appears to be distributive justice, procedural justice and interactional justice within the organization. The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between perceptions of organizational justice and spirit at work on production department employees at PDAM Delta Tirta Sidoarjo. This research used quantitative research methods. The sampling technique is using saturated sampling, with 105 production depatment employees at PDAM Delta Tirta Sidoarjo for sample. The data analysis techniques is pearson product moment correlation. The results of data analysis show that the significant value is smaller than 0.05 (p <0.05) which is equal to 0.00 which means that there is a significant relationship between perceptions of organizational justice and spirit at work. The relationship between the two variables is positive which explains that the higher the perceptions of organizational justice, the higher the spirit at work.
