Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of the world is so fast marked by the very rapid progress of science and technology, globalization has an impact on all sectors of life, including education. Globalization poses a challenge to the world of education that in the 21st century, 4C competencies (Communication, Collaboration, Critical thinking, and Creativity) are needed so that students in their lives in the future are able to compete and survive in the midst of global competition. The development of 4C competencies in students can be done with various approaches, one of which in this study is the development of contextual learning-based learning e-modules. Through this module, students are presented with factual knowledge that is close to their environment and life so that they can develop critical and creative thinking skills. Communication and collaboration skills are developed with group discussions to complete the exercises in the module. The module was developed using the ADDIE model, based on expert assessments, the atmospheric dynamics learning e-module got a score of mode 4 which was declared feasible to use. Meanwhile, based on the assessment, students got a mode score of 5 on each aspect of the assessment which means very good. Test the effectiveness of the e-module on students with a pretest-post test only design, the score increased from 56.67 to 84.00, which means that the e-module is effective to use.

Abstract

Today's education is faced with the challenges of contemporary developments, currently entering an era of hyper-globalization. The government is fully aware of the future life challenges that today's young generation will face. So the government adopted a strategic policy in the world of education, namely by implementing an independent learning curriculum. Through the implementation of the independent learning curriculum, it is hoped that it can equip students with the skills needed to answer future challenges. One way to implement the independent learning curriculum is by using learning models that are relevant to the objectives of the curriculum. Project based learning is one of the learning models that is considered relevant for achieving the goals of the independent learning curriculum. Through project-based learning, can help hone the 6C skills (Character, Citizenship, Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication) in this era of independent learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Canva digital media on the geography learning outcomes of tenth-grade students on the lithosphere material at UNPATTI Laboratory High School. This research employs an experimental method with a control group and an experimental group design. The research sample consists of 28 students divided into two groups: the control group, which used conventional learning methods, and the experimental group, which used Canva. The results of the independent t-test shown in the table indicate a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the control group and the experimental group. The Levene's Test showed an F value of 0.804 with a significance value (Sig.) of 0.378, indicating that the assumption of equal variances is acceptable. In the t-test for mean comparison, the obtained t value was -2.651 with degrees of freedom (df) of 26 for the assumption of equal variances, and 25.547 for the assumption of unequal variances. The two-sided significance value, which was less than 0.05 (0.013 and 0.014 respectively), indicates a significant difference between the two groups. The mean difference between the two groups was -5.857, showing that the learning outcomes of the control group were significantly lower than those of the experimental group. The results of the independent t-test showed a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the two groups, with the experimental group showing higher learning outcomes. These findings suggest that using Canva as a learning tool can enhance learning outcomes for tenth-grade students on lithosphere material. This study supports the literature stating that interactive technology-based learning approaches can positively impact learning outcomes. Therefore, the use of Canva in learning can be considered an effective strategy to improve educational quality.

Abstract

Distribution System and Fulfillment of Clean Water Needs in Lonthoir Village, Banda Sub-district, Central Maluku Regency, with a pipeline network only in a few houses, so many residents still need a clean water network. In addition, the quality of the existing water network is still being determined. This study aims to determine the distribution system and fulfillment of clean water needs in Lonthoir Village, Central Maluku District. The type of research used is descriptive-analytic using a cross-sectional design, with two research samples, namely water samples (reservoir basins and community basins) and community samples (consisting of 10 respondents). The results showed that in Lonthoir Village, one of the things that made the water distribution system less fulfilled was the reservoir tub was only 5x6. The pipe used to be estimated from the broncaptering to the reservoir tub was still using a 5-inch pipe, and from the reservoir tub to the community, the pipe used was the same. Fulfillment of clean water needs is less fulfilled if water is distributed from the reservoir. The flowing water still uses gravity to slow down water distribution to the community, while the water demand for the community is >200 L / day. In addition, the lab test results for the two existing water samples contained one indicator of the chemical parameters that did not meet the maximum quality standards and the requirements of PERMENKES No. 32 of 2017, namely the pH indicator element.

Abstract

Pearl cultivation began to develop, especially in Maluku Province. With the increasing cultivation of pearl mussels, the demand for pearl seeds is also increasing, but this is also hampered by a lack of supply of seeds from wild catches or obstacles during seed production, namely high mortality at the spawning stage and in general the growth and survival of shellfish species is greatly influenced. by important factors, namely temperature and food availability and other important factors, on this basis the author conducted research which aims to determine the aspects of pearl oyster cultivation in Maijuring Village, Aru Tengah District, Aru Islands Regency. The type of research used is Qualitative Descriptive analysis with seawater samples and five pearl oyster cultivators. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, which uses the criteria of people who cultivate pearl oysters. The data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis technique used is SWOT analysis. The results of the research show that in Maijuring Village, there are several factors in cultivating pearl oysters, namely water quality, feed availability, water temperature, water depth, water salinity, water pH, population density, cultivation land maintenance such as water quality, which is influenced by temperature, namely 26.9, pH namely 7.76, and salinity 34.42, and depth 20-30m, from the surface.
