Abstract

This study observed social change a community of mosque in Kampung Jogokariyan special region of Yogyakarta. With the management capabilities and the leadership who respect to their figures when pioneered since 1960 maked a significant of social change. This study use a historical-sociology approach with Max Weber’s classic theory framework. From this research indicate the revival of religious solidarity factor has encouraged the movement political-economy. This subject is a characteristic of the collective on contemporary Islamic movement in urban Java.Keywords: Social Change, Community of Mosque, Management, Political-Economy. AbstrakStudi ini mengamati perubahan sosial (social change) suatu Komunitas Masjid di Kampung Jogokariyan Yogyakarta. Dengan kemampuan manajemen dan kepemimpinan para tokoh yang disegani maka komunitas masjid kampung yang dirintis sejak tahun 1960an ini telah mengalami perubahan sosial yang cukup signifikan. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi-sejarah dengan kerangka teori klasik Max Weber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor solidaritas kebangunan agama telah mendorong gerakan ekonomi-politik. Perihal ini menjadi karakteristik yang kolektif pada gerakan Islam secara kontemporer pada perkotaan Jawa.Kata Kunci: Perubahan Sosial, Komunitas Masjid, Manajemen, Ekonomi-Politik.
