Abstract

This research aims to determine The Influence of Discipline and Physical Work Environment on Employee Performance at PT Tempo Media Tbk, South Jakarta.This research uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires and library/literature data. The population in this study was 300 employees. The sample used was 75 employees using the Slovin technique. Data analysis techniques use data instrument tests, classical assumption tests, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination. Hypothesis testing using the t test and F test. The results of the analysis show: discipline partially influences employee performance with a simple linear regression equation Y= 11.956+0.711 X1. The correlation coefficient value is 0.143, meaning it has a very low level of relationship and a coefficient of determination of 37.0%. meaning that performance is affected by 63.0%. This is proven by the t test, the calculated t value > t table (4.784 > 1.666) and reinforced by the significant value < 0.01 (00.00 < 0.01). The work environment partially has a positive effect on employee performance, shown by the simple linear regression equation Y= 17.290 + 0.585 This is proven by the t test, the calculated t value > t table (3.188 > 1.666) and reinforced by the significance value > 0.01 (0.002 > 0.01). The results of research on discipline and work environment simultaneously on employee performance are shown by the multiple linear regression equation Y = 9.580 + 0.485 X1 + 0.286 X2. The correlation coefficient value is 0.735, meaning it has a very strong level of relationship and the coefficient of determination is 59.7%, meaning performance is influenced by 61.0%. This is proven by the results of the F test hypothesis test, which shows that the calculated F value > F table (52.300 > 2.73) is confirmed by the significant value of 0.000 < 0.01. So the decision can be drawn that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of physical work environment and work motivation on employee performance at PT Pos Indonesia Ciputat Branch. This study uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires and library/literature data. The population in this study were 139 employees. The sample used was 58 employees using the Slovin technique. The data analysis used is validity test analysis, reliability test, classical assumption test, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient test, determination coefficient test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the Physical Work Environment has a significant effect on Employee Performance, it can be seen from the results of the t test obtained a tcount value of 3.323> t table 1.673 and a significant 0.002 <0.05. Work Motivation has a significant effect on Employee Performance, it can be seen from the results of the t test obtained the t value of 5.784> t table 1.673 and significant 0.000 <0.05. Simultaneously, the Physical Work Environment and Work Motivation have a positive and significant effect, this can be proven by the results of the F test which shows that Fcount>Ftabel is (66.842>3.16) and significant 0.05 (0.000 <0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of work discipline and work environment on employee performance at PT Distriversa Buanamas Mampang Branch. The method used was a quantitative approach and using the Slovin formula, a sample of 52 respondents was obtained. The analysis method uses Validity Test, Reliability Test, Classical Assumption Test, Regression Analysis, Correlation Coefficient Test, Determination Coefficient Test and Hypothesis Test. The data analysis of this study uses the SPSS version 26 program. Work discipline (X1) has a positive effect on Performance (Y) obtained the result of the regression equation value Y = 12.198 + 0.699 XI, the correlation coefficient is 0.790 meaning that the two variables have a strong relationship level. The value of determination or contribution is 62.4% while the remaining 37.6% is influenced by other factors. The hypothesis test obtained a t-value calculated > t table or (9.113 > 0.273) strengthened by a ρ value < Sig.0.05 or (0.000 < 0.05), thus Ho1 was rejected and Ha1 was accepted. Work Environment (X2) has a positive effect on Performance (Y) obtained the result of the equation value Y = 16.197 + 0.611 X2, the correlation coefficient is 0.740 meaning that the two variables have a strong relationship level. The value of determination or contribution is 54.8% while the remaining 45.2% is influenced by other factors. The hypothesis test was obtained with a calculated t-value > t table or (7.785 > 0.273) strengthened by a ρ value < Sig.0.05 or (0.000 < 0.05), thus Ho2 was rejected and Ha2 was accepted. Work Discipline (X1) and Work Environment (X2) have a positive effect on Performance (Y) obtained the result of the equation value Y = 12.231 + 0.632 X1 + 0.068 X2 and the correlation coefficient value of 0.791 means that the two variables have a strong relationship level. The determination value was 62.5% while the remaining 37.5% was influenced by other factors. The hypothesis test was obtained with a value of f calculated > f table or (40.871 > 3.19) strengthened by a ρ value < Sig.0.05 or (0.000 < 0.05), thus Ho3 was rejected and Ha3 was accepted.
