Abstract

Education has a very important role in educating the life of the nation. Education should not only shape someone who is an expert in a particular field, but also how a person is able to bring himself into the environment of society, nation and state in accordance with the applicable norms and rules. However, education that occurs now still does not provide space for students to behave honestly because the learning process tends to teach moral education and character as limited to the knowledge written in the text. Therefore, this study was designed to see the environmental care  of students, especially junior high school students, because they are a transition from children to adolescents, a time when individuals become very unstable, and easily imitate whatever he sees in his environment. This study uses a type of survey research. This research data uses quantitative data. The technique of data collection is done through the provision of instruments, namely questionnaires. The respondents in this study were junior high school students, amounting to 50 respondents, of which the respondents were students from class VII-A and VII-b SMPN 10 Muaro Jambi. the results of this study students' tolerance attitude is very good.

Abstract

Gagasan yang paling besar pengaruhnya terhadap kemajuan dan pembangunan bangsa di zaman sekarang ini adalah globalisasi. Globalisasi berdampak pada hampir setiap aspek kehidupan peradaban kita. Globalisasi melibatkan lebih dari sekedar interkoneksi perekonomian; itu juga melibatkan perubahan ruang dan waktu dalam keberadaan manusia. Dalam kerangka sistem politik dan ekonomi negara-negara berkembang, globalisasi berubah menjadi aparatus politik yang canggih. Namun, skenario industri juga mengalami ketidakpastian dan distribusi pendapatan yang semakin tidak merata di antara individu seiring dengan meningkatnya globalisasi saat ini. Artikel ini membahas topik liberalisasi keuangan dan globalisasi serta pengaruhnya terhadap Amerika Serikat sebagai komunitas global. Globalisasi juga dianggap mengeksploitasi gelombang demokrasi di beberapa sektor perekonomian. Terkait dengan keadaan sosial-moneter di Indonesia pada masa liberalisasi moneter, ketimpangan sosial-keuangan merupakan salah satu hal yang terjadi dalam masyarakat Indonesia. Kenyataan lainnya adalah bahwa globalisasi kini lebih bersifat lokal, seperti di tingkat provinsi, kabupaten, atau kota, dan bukan hanya di tingkat negara.

Abstract

This study examined the impact of transformational leadership and intrinsic motivation on employee performance. A quantitative approach was adopted, employing a saturated sample consisting of all 54 employees. Data analysis involved validity and reliability tests, classical assumption checks, regression analysis, correlation coefficients, coefficients of determination, and hypothesis testing. The results revealed that transformational leadership positively influences employee performance. The regression equation Y = 37.836 + 0.115X1 indicated a weak relationship, with a correlation coefficient of 0.294. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.119 suggests that transformational leadership accounts for 11.9% of the variance in employee performance, while other factors explain the remaining 88.1%. Hypothesis testing further supported this relationship, with a calculated t-value of 2.680 exceeding the critical value of 1.675 (p <.05), thus confirming H1. Intrinsic motivation also demonstrated a positive impact on employee performance. This was evident in the regression equation Y = 20.529 + 0.517X2. Hypothesis testing corroborated this finding, with a calculated t-value of 3.164 surpassing the critical value of 1.675 (p <.05). Finally, the combined effect of transformational leadership and intrinsic motivation on employee performance was explored through the regression equation Y = 23.637 + 0.136X1 + 0.582X2. The coefficient of determination for this model was 0.171, indicating that these two factors collectively explain 17.1% of the variance in employee performance. H3 was accepted following an F-test that confirmed its significance (F = 5.265, p <.05).
