Abstract

The subject matter of this study is the Islamic Law view on Reimbursement of Witness Costs in Fulfilling Summons Based on Article 229 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in Gowa District from an Islamic legal perspective. The type of research used in this study is a type of qualitative descriptive field research, as for the approach used, normative juridical and normative theological approaches, then the primary data sources are interviews conducted at the Gowa Police Station, the Gowa Prosecutor's Office and the community who have been witnesses in solving cases in Gowa district. Both secondary data sources are sourced from books, journals, and other sources related to this research. Data collection methods carried out, namely observation, interviews, documentation and literature studies. The results of the research obtained are that the reimbursement of witness summoning costs in Gowa district has not been carried out in accordance with what is stipulated in Article 229 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The inhibiting factors are because the budget items given each year only increase by a few percent while the increase in the number of cases that occur and those reported soar every year, and causes the reimbursement of witness summoning costs has not been optimally applied. In Islamic law, the reimbursement of the cost of summoning witnesses is not specifically regulated but in the Qur'an is equated with the granting of the right to all to create justice for human beings.

Abstract

Using hand puppets in a storytelling activity (which can resemble human or animal forms) as a learning medium has many beneficial. This study aims to determine the role of the hand puppet storytelling method in early childhood language development. This research uses a library research type, Systematic Literature Review (SLR), namely the study of various scientific studies relevant to research to obtain inferences in the form of new findings that can later be replicated. The data source used is secondary data, which has been previously published in the form of books, journals, and previous studies. The data collection technique in this research is documentation. The data analysis technique uses content analysis, a research technique for making inferences that can be replicated. The results showed that storytelling using hand puppet media played a role in developing children’s language. The role of the storytelling method using hand puppet media in early childhood language development, namely (1) encouraging children to be more skilled at speaking; (2) make children more interested and more active in listening; (3) increasing children’s self-confidence; (4) improve children’s listening skills; (5) developing receptive language skills of children; (6) developing children’s early literacy; (7) enabling children to retell stories that they’ve been heard; (8) add word recognition and vocabulary to children’s language; and (9) developing children’s oral language skills. This research has implications for learning, especially for teachers to use various media and appropriate learning methods according to the child’s learning type. Children become interested and more enthusiastic in participating in the learning process.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menggunakan aplikasi Quizizz sebagai media asesmen interaktif yang menyenangkan, khususnya dalam menghadapi tantangan era digitalisasi. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) Prajabatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Parepare dengan fokus pada pelatihan yang diselenggarakan bagi guru-guru di Kota Parepare. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini meliputi observasi kebutuhan, diskusi perencanaan, penyusunan materi, pelatihan secara tatap muka, dan pendampingan dalam penyusunan modul ajar berbasis Quizizz. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan Quizizz, mulai dari pembuatan akun hingga analisis hasil kuis. Peserta juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi selama pelatihan, dengan peningkatan signifikan dalam penguasaan keterampilan teknis dan penerapan strategi pembelajaran interaktif. Kontribusi dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas, terciptanya pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik bagi siswa, serta terbentuknya jaringan kolaborasi antara guru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi pendidikan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berhasil mendukung transformasi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan relevan dengan perkembangan teknologi di era digital.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic caused Indonesia's economic conditions to experience chaos. No exception in Lerang Village, Lanrisang Subdistrict, Pinrang Regency where many shops or businesses owned by residents suffered losses. The observations showed that the majority of residents in Desa Lerang cultivated fish to be one of the sources of food anpd income in the pandemic. From the observation, fish cultivated after harvesting will be directly sold to the market or consumed directly without trying to process it first into a higher value product. After further observation, the team of Thematic Community Service (KKNT) from Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM) found that the fish cultivated by the community was suitable for processing into “Abon Ikan”, then the KKNT UNM Team began to prepare the things needed to socialize it. This socialization is coupled in the entrepreneurship training conducted on August 26, 2021 in which there are three materials, namely: “Abon Ikan” making, personal branding, and entrepreneurship management. This activity increases people's understanding of the importance of entrepreneurship in this pandemic period, which can be seen from the enthusiasm of citizens in participating in this activity. As an exterior of this activity, the KKNT UNM Team formed a business unit consisting of lerang villagers and was shadowed directly by BUMDes. Therefore, this business unit came as one of the solutions in overcoming the economic problems faced by the people of Lerang Village during the covid-19 pandemic.
