<![CDATA[The study was conducted to determine and analyze more deeply by finding the relevance of the theories by Ki Hajar Dewantara to produce competent PAUD educators, especially in Indonesia. This study used a qualitative method or a descriptive approach. The theories or basic discussion was obtained from the results of literature studies from various sources, such as journals, books, and articles. Then, the results were obtained that the theories of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s thoughts, including the among system and its 3 mottoes are still very relevant to be applied in the education circumstances today. It is considering that these theories actually make the learning process as an effort to humanize humans. The teacher’s competence as intended by the theory is considered ideal to be applied by PAUD teachers at this time. By understanding the theory, it is expected to improve the competence of PAUD teachers, given the success of the education world in the past. Therefore, PAUD teachers nowadays have many demands to be able to always be professional with awareness to further improve their pedagogical competencies, in order to produce competent students as well. Thus, it is necessary to have competence and experience that is qualified and able to realize the theories of Ki Hajar Dewantara when teaching.                                        ABSTRAKPenelitian dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis lebih dalam dengan mencari relevansi akan teori-teori dari Ki Hajar Dewantara demi menciptakan tenaga pendidik PAUD yang berkompeten khususnya di negara Indonesia sendiri. Kajian penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif atau pendekatan secara deskriptif.  Yang mana teori ataupun dasar pembahasannya diperoleh dari hasil studi kepustakaan dari berbagai sumber  seperti jurnal, buku dan artikel. Kemudian diperoleh hasil bahwa teori  dari hasil pemikira Ki Hajar Dewantara yaitu sistem among dan 3 semboyannya masih sangat relevan untuk diterapkan dalam dunia pendidikan saat ini. Mengingat teori - teori tersebut benar - benar menjadikan proses belajar sebagai upaya memanusiakan manusia. Kompetensi guru yang dimaksudkan oleh teori tersebut dirasa ideal untuk diaplikasikan oleh guru PAUD masa kini. Dengan memahami teori tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi dari guru PAUD, mengingat akan keberhasilan dunia pendidikan terdahulu. Oleh karena itu, guru PAUD masa kini memiliki banyak tuntutan untuk dapat senantiasa profesional dengan kesadaran untuk semakin meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogiknya, demi menciptakan peserta didik yang berkompeten pula. Maka perlu memiliki kompetensi serta pengalaman yang mumpuni dan mampu merealisasikan teori dari Ki Hajar Dewantara ketika mengajar.]]>
