Abstract

Abstrak, permainan tradisional boi dapat diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) pada konsep fisika momentum, impuls, dan tumbukan. Desain penelitian ini adalah One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Penelitian ini berlokasi di SMAN 57 Maluku Tengah dengan subjek penelitian merupakan peserta didik kelas XI IPA yang berjumlah 12 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen tes sebelum dan setelah proses pembelajaran, dan LKPD untuk kemampuan kognitif selama proses. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa sebelum proses pembelajaran 100% siswa belum menguasai materi momentum, impuls dan tumbukan atau berada pada kualifikasi gagal dengan rata-rata capaian 37,9. Selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung, penguasaan materi momentum, impuls, dan tumbukan siswa cukup beragam. 16,7 % capaian siswa berada pada kualifikasi baik, 50,0% capaian siswa pada kualifikasi cukup, dan 33,3% capaian siswa berada pada kualifikasi gagal. Rata-rata capaian siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung sebesar 70,4 dan berada pada kualifikasi cukup. Setelah proses pembelajaran berlangsung, 25% capaian siswa berada pada kualifikasi baik, 33,3% capaian siswa berada pada kualifikasi cukup, dan 41,7% capaian siswa berada pada kualifikasi gagal. Rata-rata capaian penguasaan materi siswa setelah proses pembelajaran adalah 66,7 dan berada pada kualifikasi cukup. Hasil uji peningkatan penguasaan materi menunjukkan bahwa 10 orang (83,3%) siswa mengalami peningkatan penguasaan materi pada kualifikasi sedang dan 2 orang (16,7%) siswa pada kualifikasi rendah. Walaupun masih dalam kategori sedang, dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi permainan Boi dalam pembelajaran fisika dapat meningkatkan penguasaan materi momentum, impuls dan tumbukkan siswa SMAN 57 Maluku Tengah.

Abstract

One of the profiles of graduates of the Unpatti FKIP Physics Education Study Program is to become a professional physics teacher. In line with that, one of the skills that must be possessed by a professional physics teacher is the ability to plan, design, and implement lesson plans, as well as evaluate learning processes and outcomes by applying logical, critical, systematic, and innovative thinking. Logical, critical, systematic, and innovative thinking in Bloom's taxonomy are the ability of higher order thinking skills (HOTS). The purpose of this study is to improve students' pedagogic competence in developing indicators, learning objectives, and HOTS-based test instruments. This type of research is Pre-Experimental Design in the One Group Pretest-post test design category, applied to 50 students of the Physics Education Study Program FKIP Unpatti in the fifth semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. Research data obtained through tests, performance, and non-test, processed descriptively using the normalized score gain formula. The average result of the increase is in the high category g = 0,76 ≥ 0,7. These results illustrate that there has been an increase in students' abilities in developing indicators, learning objectives, and developing HOTS-based test instruments. Development of indicators, learning objectives, test instruments and mastery of HOTS knowledge as part of the preparation of lesson plans and assessment of learning outcomes, taught as knowledge and strengthened in practice. In the exercise students are given the opportunity to identify forms of behaviour that can be observed, and measured at each level of cognition according to Bloom's taxonomy revised as a feature of HOTS, which are analysing, evaluating, and creating. In conclusion, increasing student pedagogic competence can be obtained through consistent mastery of knowledge and practice.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' analytical skills in solving physics problems using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model. The type of research is descriptive research. The research data shows that in the initial test the average value of the in itial ability of students is 15,84 seen from the analytical ability of C2 of 38,88%, C3 of 18,75%, C4 of 21,52%, thus the average initial ability of students is classified as a failed qualification. The average value of students' analytical skills during the learning process is 81,01% with the complete category. The final a bility data average value is 81,14, seen from the analytical ability of C2 of 83,33%, C3 of 75%, C4 of 72,54%. Thus, it can be concluded that the CTL learning model can be used to analyze the ability of students to solve problems.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of the ability to master heat material and its transfer by implementing a problem posing learning model in grade VII students of SMP Santo Andreas Ambon. This research uses quantitative descriptive research methods. The instruments used are the initial test instrument and the final test. The results of this study showed that the initial ability of students in heat and transfer material was very low with an average score of 43.5 achievement being in the qualification of failing. After learning with the problem posing learning model, the average score of the final ability of students was 84.2 with good qualifications. The increase in student material mastery after applying the problem posing learning model is in the high category of 65% and the medium category of 35% with an average increase (N Gain) of 0.70% with moderate qualifications. Thus, it can be concluded that learning using the problem posing learning model can improve the mastery of heat material and its transfer to grade VII students of SMP Santo Andreas Ambon.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a product in the form of an evaluation model of the physics learning process on atomic theory material that is suitable for use by students. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R & D) method. The research subjects consisted of 22 students at the fifth-semester level in the Physics Education Study Program, at Pattimura University. The data was collected, namely through test sheets and observation sheets. Based on the trial results, all the instruments used in this study had a good model fit. This is because construct validity and reliability meet academic requirements. Meanwhile, the results of assessments from practitioners and users stated that the evaluation model of the physics learning process in atomic theory material for modern physics courses and learning outcomes was quite effective to apply.

Abstract

This research is research and development (R&D) to develop a monopoly game media on optical devices materials. The flow of the development method is adapted from the Four-D development method (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) whose implementation only reaches the develop stage. The monopoly game media developed has been tested for feasibility by experts so that it is suitable for use to improve mastery of optical devices material in grade VIII students of Kartika Ambon junior high school. The results of the limited trial obtained an average initial ability of students of 37.5 with failed qualifications and the average formative score of students after the learning process using monopoly game media was 85.75 with good qualifications. The results of the gain test showed an increase in mastery of optical devices material in grade VIII students of Kartika Ambon junior high school with an average gain value of 0.77 in the high category. Thus, the monopoly game learning media developed can increase the mastery of optical devices material in grade VIII students of Kartika Ambon junior high school.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study with a one group pretest posttest research design. The aim of this research is implementing a PhET simulation virtual laboratory integrated with a discovery learning model to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes on parabolic motion material. The research sample was 29 students of class XI MIA-1. Research data obtained through pretest and posttest were analysed descriptively based on KKM and Ngain score. The results of data analysis show that students' initial knowledge of parabolic motion material is still low with an average pretest score of 22.76. The results of the analysis of students' posttest on parabolic motion material showed that students had reached the KKM with an average posttest score of 77.24, and an average Ngain score of 0.7. Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of the PhET simulation virtual laboratory integrated with the discovery learning model can improve cognitive learning outcomes on parabolic motion material.
