Abstract

Arabic is a religious language that is able to unite all Muslims in various parts of the world. Thus, to arouse students' enthusiasm in learning Arabic, motivation is needed. The purpose of this study was to determine the motivation to learn the language of the students at MTs Miftahul Ulum Pondoklabu and to find out the inhibiting and supporting factors that cause students to be motivated or not motivated in learning Arabic which were analyzed through MC Clelland's theory. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data analysis using source triangulation and method triangulation. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were 5 students of class 7A and 5 students of class 7B. The data obtained came from Arabic teachers and students. The results of this study show; 1) many students at MTs Miftahul Ulum do not yet have the motivation to learn Arabic, 2) this is related to MC Clelland's theory that many students do not pursue the highest ranking but rather they prefer competition.   Bahasa Arab merupakan bahasa Agama yang mampu menyatukan seluruh umat Islam di berbagai belahan dunia. Dengan demikian, untuk membangkitkan semangat siswa dalam mempelajari Bahasa Arab diperlukan adanya sebuah motivasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar bahasa arasiswa di MTs Miftahul Ulum Pondoklabu dan mengetahui faktor penghambat dan pendukung yang menyebabkan siswa termotivasi atau tidak termotivasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang dianalis melalui teori MC Clelland. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian ini 5 siswa kelas 7A dan 5 siswa kelas 7B. Data yang diperoleh berasal daru guru bahasa Arab dan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan; 1) banyak siswa di MTs Miftahul Ulum belum memiliki motivasi belajar bahasa Arab, 2) dikaitkan dengan teori MC Clelland bahwa banyak siswa yang tidak mengejar rangking tertinggi melainkan mereka lebih menyukai persaingan.

Abstract

Research aims to find out the potential use of agarwood leaves as a beverage product of agarwood leaf tea. Agarwood leaves have not been processed and utilized by the community to the maximum because of the lack of knowledge and technical guidance on processing agarwood leaves. This research is carried out by preparing tools and materials, then conducting a selection of agarwood leaves, agarwood leaves that have been selected and selected are washed with running water, and then twisted until the wind dry. After twisting, drying is carried out with a temperature variation of 30 ºC for 6 days, 40 ºC for 4 days and 50 ºC 2 days. After drying with the treatment of variations in the temperature of agarwood leaves, it is done to reduce the size using a blender and then sifting is carried out so as to produce tea powder. The tea powder that was applied was carried out water content analysis, organoleptic tests, phytochemical tests and Tannins. The results of the observations made are the lowest water content of agarwood leaf tea is best at 500C treatment for 2 Days and panelists' favorability level for agarwood tea (Aquilaria malaccensis) is on a scale of 3-4 which is quite likeable to like, where panelists prefer tea from agarwood leaves with a temperature treatment of 50­ ºC for 2 days.   ave not been processed and utilized by the community to the maximum because of the lack of knowledge and technical guidance on processing agarwood leaves.
