Abstract

Mobile internet ialah teknologi telekomunikasi yang memiliki keunggulan mudah dibawa kemana-mana karena ukurannya yang kurang lebih sebesar genggaman tangan. Variasi teknologi mobile berkembang karena mengikuti perkembangan jaman, danmenyesuaikan dengan minat dan kebutuhan konsumen. Tuntutan kebutuhan komunikasi, bisnis, informasi, hiburan, sosial-media, dan juga pendidikan yang menggunakan jaringan internet menjadikan kehidupan mahasiswa benar-benar lekat dengan internet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki bagaimana pengaruh persepsi kemanfaatan (perceived usefulness), persepsi kualitas (perceived quality), dan persepsi kesenangan (perceived enjoyment) terhadap minat untuk menggunakan (intention to use) internet mobile di kalangan mahasiswa Politeknik Sriwijaya (Polsri). Penelitian dilakukan sekitar 4 bulan dengan sampel 145 mahasiswa. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan path analysis. Metode analisis ini dipilih karena yang ingin dikethaui adalah seberapa besar pengaruh langsung variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan persepsi kemanfaatan mempunyai pengaruh langsung sebesar 0,383, persepsi kualitas mempunyai pengaruh langsung sebesar 0,271, dan persepsi kesenganan mempunyai pengaruh langsung sebesar 0,245 terhadap minat menggunakan internet mobile pada mahasiswa Polsri. Adanya pengaruh dari ketiga variabel didasarkan pada survey kuesioner yaitu: dukungan dari pihak kampus yang menyediakan bandwidth yang besar membuat mahasiswa memanfaatkan jaringan internet sebagai sumber belajar yang membantu mempermudah dan mempercepat penyelesaian tugas perkuliahan, termasuk tugas akhir. Selain dukungan yang diberikan oleh pihak kampus, kualitas layanan yang diberikan oleh provider telekomunikasi cukup tinggi seperti kecepatan akses dan jangkauan yang luas. Selain memanfaatkan mobile internet dalam proses pembelajaran, mahasiswa  juga memanfaatkannya sebagai media hiburan seperti bermain game secara online.

Abstract

Recently, the use of personal computers has widespread worldwide, both college and nonamong college. In the entire universities, using personal computers has been practiced optimallyby the lecturers in order to provide a positive impact on their individual performance.This study is aimed at examining and analyzing the utilization factors of information technologyand its influence towards the performance of lecturers in terms of utilizing their personalcomputer (PC). The factors being analyzed were social factors, affective (feelings of the individual),complexity, job appropriateness, long-term consequences, and facilitating conditions.The research sample consists of 79 lecturers in the State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya.These data were collected and used to predict the factors of utilization of information technologyon the lecturers performance. It was found out that there was a negative relationshipand not significant for social factors, affective (feelings of the individual), complexity, andjob appropriateness, whereas long-term consequences and utilizations of IT. The facilitatingconditions were found to have a positive and significant relationship towards the performanceof the individual performance.

Abstract

Campus security is a condition that shows that every campus community must feel safe and comfortable. The higher the security level of the campus environment, the lower the risk of loss due to loss of assets or damage to the campus environment. Therefore, a research entitled "Design a Campus Environmental Patrol Monitoring System Using Near Field Communication Android-Based and Web Application." This study uses the method Rapid Application Development (RAD). The results of the development of this monitoring system can facilitate the monitoring of security officers whether they have performed their duties properly and correctly by using technology Near Field Communication. By using the android application to perform the process scanning and the web application makes it easy to monitor the position of security officers using maps. To provide information in real-time,this research was distributed using the Whatsapp Gateway. The test results using Black-Box Testing from the construction of this patrol monitoring system are 100% valid. And the UAT test results are in the range of 60%-79% where the user states "agree" and has fulfilled the user's needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh minat pemanfaatan sistem informasi terhadap penggunaan sistem informasi dengan kemudahan penggunaan sebagai variabel moderating. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh dosen Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya (POLSRI) yang berjumlah 388 responden, metode sampling menggunakan proporsional random sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 80 responden. Kuesioner diuji dengan uji reliabilitas dan uji validitas, selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian asumsi klasik meliputi uji multikolinearitas, uji normalitas dan uji heteroskedastisitas. Kemudian uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji T. Untuk hipotesis 2 dilakukan dengan MRA (moderated regression analysis).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel minat pemanfaatan sistem informasi berpengaruh terhadap penggunaan SI dosen POLSRI. Sedangkan variabel kemudahan penggunaan tidak memoderasi pengaruh minat pemanfaatan SI terhadap penggunaan SI dosen POLSRI, sehingga variabel kemudahan penggunaan bukan variabel moderating. Kata kunci : minat pemanfaatan SI, kemudahan penggunaan, penggunaan SI

Abstract

Web applications are most widely used by the user in the cooperative information portal. This web application type is used as a communication tool to distribute information to the general public relating to the the organization or company. State Polytechnic Sriwijaya develop information portal that is used to distribute information related to academic activities in the form of announcements and news that happens in the State Polytechnic Sriwijaya. Portal of information held by the State Polytechnic Sriwijaya has not implemented the quality factor of reusability in Web application development cycle. The purpose of this research is to implement JQuery as the application of the quality factor of reusability at the Polytechnic of Sriwijaya information portal. JQuery is applied on the portal interface to allow users to use the information portal. Results obtained from this study that more information portal interesting and attractive. Abstract

The information system has been widely utilized in various fields including the field of education. This study aims to examine the factors that affect the interests of academic information system utilization in electrical engineering lecturer POLSRI totaling 71 people. The data in this study was obtained from the primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through a questionnaire (questionnaire) that has been provided. Secondary data were obtained from the administrative department of electrical engineering polytechnic sriwijaya. All lecturers sampled. A total of 71 questionnaires given and everything back. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. These results indicate that the performance expectancy, effort expectancy and social factors affect the behavioral intention of academic information systems. This is because the respondents felt the information system helps in improving the quality of work and more improve the quality of teaching and learning. The background of the respondents who have educational S2 is also a supporter so it does not feel difficult in using the existing academic information system. Besides superiors and co-workers also strongly supports the use of existing academic information system. Keywords : behavioral intention, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social factor

Abstract

Sepeda motor merupakan transportasi pribadi yang paling banyak digunakan masyarakat untuk pergi ke tempat yang dekat bahkan jauh sekalipun. Disamping harganya yang tergolong mudah dijangkau, sepeda motor lebih mudah untuk melalui kemacetan dan jalan sempit sekalipun. Sepeda motor seringkali menjadi target pencurian dikarenakan lemahnya pengawasan terhadap kendaraan. Umumnya sepeda motor hanya memiliki keamanan seperti kunci pengaman konvensional, berbeda dengan kendaraan seperti mobil yang memiliki perangkat GPS (Global Positioning System). Pada penelitian ini dibuatlah rancang bangun sistem keamanan sepeda motor yang menggabungkan mikrokontroler dengan aplikasi android. Mikrokontroler yang digunakan adalah Arduino Mega 2560 yang dilengkapi dengan modul GPS, modul SIM900 dan relay. Penerapan teknologi IOT (Internet of Thing) sebagai media yang digunakan untuk komunikasi antara alat dan aplikasi android. Modul GPS akan memberikan koordinat posisi sepeda motor dan ditampilkan pada aplikasi android melalui komunikasi internet menggunakan modul SIM900. Relay dirancang untuk memutus aliran listrik pada mesin kendaraan. Berdasarkan hasil dari rancang bangun ini nantinya dapat diimplementasikan pada sepeda motor untuk dapat mengetahui posisi kendaraan yang telah dicuri.

Abstract

The development of sophisticated technology for human life starts from the development of computerized technology, information and communication technology, and technology in the field of mechanics, especially robotics. Robotics technology is a form of technological change that creates innovations all the time. The purpose of this design was to implement the technology concept of the Raspberry Pi microcontroller in the form of military applications, household chores, industrial areas monitoring, and security maintenance that may cause high dangerous risks without the user going directly to carry out the activities. The method used in developing the concept of merging audio and video followed the MJPEG Streamer and Darkice method. The product was a robot that resembles a car made using wheels that moves in the direction the user wants via an Android control. The communication employs a Raspberry Pi server sent from the robot to Android by displaying a streaming screen on the application. The data obtained are in images and sounds generated from the camera on the robot.

Abstract

Kacang kedelai banyak diminati, terutama dalam bidang olahan bahan dasar makanan. Harga kacang kedelai yang relatif murah sangat mudah dipasarkan di semua kalangan. Memproses kacang kedelai dengan cara manual sudah sangat lazim dilakukan dan diproses menggunakan mesin juga sudah dilakukan oleh industri-industri menengah ke bawah apalagi industri menengah ke atas dengan perbedaan jumlah produksi dalam waktu yang berbeda-beda. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengembangan dengan menambahkan IoT pada mesin extractor yang menggunakan sistem software dari Thingspeak, di desain pada web MIT Inventor dan juga trasnfer data dengan metode komunikasi data serial Asinkron. Dengan muatan sekali produksi susu kedelai yang tidak begitu besar karena untuk alat bantu rumah tangga.

Abstract

Environmental Cleanliness still have low public attention. Public tends to inapropriately littering which caused by the trash bin is in full capacity. This things happened because the lack of monitoring by the janitor. The problem mentioned before can be overcome by designing an automatic monitoring system without being monitored all time and send notification. This research will design an automatic trash bin which will send notification of SMS upon reaching full capacity. This trash bin is equipped with Arduino Mega 2560, SIM 900 module, and infrared. This research will be implemented for a better quality of environmental protection.
