Abstract

This study starts from the researchers’ interest in the use of flashcard media for the elementary school level because seeing the facts in the field that students are only monotonous while in the classroom caused of teacher-centered learning. This research is quantitative research with an experimental approach conducted at MI NU 56 KrajanKulon Kendal with the aim to find out the effect of flashcard media on science learning outcomes for fifth-grade students of MI NU 56 Krajankulon Kendal. The population in this study were all fifth-grade students, totaling 126 students. From this population, the researchers used a simple random sampling technique to take the sample of this study. As a result, the chosen class to be the experimental class is the fifth B grade, consisting of 32 students, and the control class is the fifth A grade, consisting of 32 students. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through questionnaires which were shared with fifth-grade students, while the secondary data is in the form of supporting literature on flashcard media and science learning outcomes. The data collection was conducted using multiple-choice tests and documentation. The data analysis technique is descriptive statistics, and the hypothesis test used is the T-test. And the results of the hypothesis test showed that the calculated t value is 4.067 > 1.669 with a significance level of 0.000 with the df = (n-1) of 63; therefore the t table value is at a significant level of 0.05. thus the t count > the t table or 4.067 > 1.669 then it can be stated that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. In conclusion, there is an influence between the use of flashcard media on science learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students using the Course Review Horay learning model on the science subject for fourth-grade students at MI Nashrul Fajar Meteseh, Tembalang Subdistrict, Semarang. The study aims to investigate whether there are differences in learning outcomes between students using conventional teaching methods and those using the Course Review Horay model. This research is an experimental study with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques include observations, interviews, tests, and documentation. The population of this study consists of all fourth-grade classes (A, B, C, D) at MI Nashrul Fajar Meteseh, with a total of 129 students. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 63 students from fourth-grade classes A and B. The researchers employed field research methods, obtaining sources from official documents related to ecological spirituality and interviews with informants. Additionally, secondary sources such as books, journals, articles, and relevant literature reviews were utilized. The research design employed qualitative research, with data collected in the form of written or spoken language and observed behaviors. Due to the non-normal distribution of class data for normality and homogeneity tests, the non-parametric Wilcoxon formula was used to assess the impact of the Course Review Horay model on the study. The research findings indicate a significant difference in the learning outcomes of students using the Course Review Horay learning model compared to those using conventional teaching methods for science in the fourth grade at MI Nashrul Fajar. Based on the Wilcoxon test results, a significant value of 0.000 was obtained, which was smaller than 0.05. This implies that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the Course Review Horay learning model has an influence on the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at MI Nashrul Fajar.

Abstract

This research was conducted at MI Baitul Huda Semarang. This research focuses on fifth-grade students for the 2022/2023 academic year. This study aims to determine the effect of the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model on science learning outcomes in the theme material of the eight water cycles. This research is motivated by a lack of activity, enthusiasm, and low scores in science learning outcomes. This research approach is to use a quantitative approach. This study used a purposive sampling technique with a one-group pretest-posttest design model, namely an experiment conducted in one group only without any comparison group. The population used in this study was class V MI Baitul Huda, a total of 61 students, and focused on class VB as many as 30 students as a sample. The data collection method used is the test method with multiple choice objective tests. This study uses two sources of data, namely primary and secondary. The primary data source is student class V MI Baitul Huda Semarang which is the subject, and secondary data is documentation, teacher books, student books, and other supporting books. Data were analyzed using the t-test, which used the paired sample t-test. It was found that the results of the t-test were 0.000 <0.05, which means that the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there are differences in science learning outcomes in class VB students before using the AIR model and after using the AIR model. Based on the test results of the coefficient of determination, the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 30.0%, which means that the AIR learning model influences science learning outcomes. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it is concluded that the AIR learning model influences science learning outcomes in class V MI Baitul Huda in the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the 5E learning cycle model on student learning outcomes in grade IV, especially on the material life cycle of living things. The effect of this study is shown by the difference in the average student learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class. This research is quantitative research, with a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control design. The population in this study were all fourth-grade students at MI Nurul Islam, a total of 109 children. The sampling technique in this study used the Simple Random Sampling technique. It is said to be simple (simple) because the collection of sample members is done randomly without regard to the strata in the population. The sample in this study was class IVA which consisted of 28 students as the experimental class, and class IVD which consisted of 27 students as the control class. In data collection techniques, researchers used documentation, observations, and tests. In this study, researchers obtained primary data by means of interviews, observations, and tests. Meanwhile, researchers obtained secondary data from several relevant journals, books, and previous research. The data analysis technique used is to test (independent t-test). Based on the results of the t-test (independent t-test), the results obtained were Sig. (2-tailed) has a value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is an influence between the two variables. And the correlation/relationship (R) value is 0.875. From this output, the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 76.6%. This shows that the Learning Cycle 5E learning model influences student learning outcomes by contributing 76.6%, and the rest is influenced by other variables.
