Abstract

This research analyzed the role of cooperative learning method towards the students’ speaking skill for the eighth grade students. The research conducted at SMP SEMPU NURUL AMIN Cikarang. The purpose of the research is to find the role of cooperative learning method by using “Number Heads Together” teaching technique to the students’ achievements at eighth grade of Junior High School in English speaking skill. The methodology of the research is experimental method and analyzed by using comparative quantitative research. The researcher took 40 students for the sample. They are divided in two classes; each class consists of 20 students. The first class (Experimental class) was taught by using cooperative learning method while the second class (Controlled class) was taught by using conventional method. In the test, it consists of 10 questions. The researcher gave same questions for both of classes. The gathered data were analyzed by using statistical analysis. The writer used t-test formula. Based on the result of the analysis of data, the research showed that there is role of cooperative learning method towards the students’ speaking skill. It can be seen from the result of posttest that showed the total score of experimental class was higher than the score of controlled class (178 > 138), the mean score of experimental class was higher than the mean score of controlled class (8,9 > 6,9). Then the total score of posttest of experimental class was higher than the total score of pretest (178 > 127). Besides that, the result of t – test was higher than t table (3,030 > 1,729) at the significant level of 5%. So the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. It indicates that there is positive role of cooperative learning method by using “Number Heads Together” teaching technique towards the students’ speaking skill and this method can be accepted as one of good methods in learning speaking. Abstract

Objective: To investigate whether ADSCs are capable of nerve repair in stress urinary incontinence. Material & Methods: Thirty rats were allocated to five groups for receiving a periurethral injection with Phosphate Buffer Saline (PBS) (B1,B2) and Adipose-derived Stem Cells (C1, C2). Functional assessments with Voided Stain on Paper (VSOP) Method were reassessed at 2 and 4 weeks after injection. The rat SUI model was generated by Vaginal Distention (VD). The regeneration of peripheral nerve was evaluated by PGP 9.5 immunohistochemical staining. Results: Results revealed significant peripheral nerve differences between ADSC group and other groups in 28 days using PGP 9.5 staining. Our functional assessment, Voided Stain on Paper (VSOP), showed that ADSC group had significant improvement in 14 days; unfortunately, our 28 days improvement was not substantial. Conclusion: Periurethral injection of ADSCs improves urine pattern in SUI-induced rats and increase the amount of peripheral nerve. This method may be a potential strategy for SUI treatment.

Abstract

Steel of ST 41 is the steel be classified as low carbon steel with guide compositions about 0.37-0.43%C, 0.5-0.35%Si, 0.60-0.90%Mn. The steel sometimes has the unfit characteristic to the need, so It needs another treatment to change characteristic and structure from steel of ST 41 itself be changed in heat treatment methods. Cooling media can affect the strictness characteristics of steel of ST 41. The heating process in the research uses 723oC withholding in an hour. Then it is cooled quickly in many Cooling media. Cooling media be used in the research are water, salt, and coconut oil by using holding time on each Cooling media in 5 to 20 minutes. After done in Quenching process, the steel of ST 41 is done strictness tests and strengths tests to use Rockwell method tests and analyzed. This research result will recommend on general formulation to predict in strictness of steel of ST 41, if it use two co positions namely: Y= 97.2118+0.0983*x-0.4223*y 0.0114*x*x+0.0026*x*y+0.0023 *y*y. can predict pulling strength ness of ST 41 material, For a while if they use two compositions namely Y = 46.7828+0.3293*x+0.2271*y-0.0132*x*x-1.1689E-14*x*y-0.0009*y*y. so each x1 and x2 areas holding time and temperature.

Abstract

Abstract Tax is one of the state revenues that is used to continue to carry out national development in order to realize the welfare of all Indonesian people. This study aims to analyze how the influence of awareness, level of knowledge, tax sanctions, and the environment of taxpayers on individual taxpayer compliance with case studies at the Holy Pratama Tax Service Office in 2018. This type of research is case study and field research (Case Study and Field Research The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach.Taking of samples in this study using Simple Random Sampling techniques. The samples to be taken in this study were 100 respondents. The data analysis method used was multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 23.00 The results showed that the variable of consciousness affected the taxpayer compliance based on the calculation, it was obtained tcount> ttable, that is 3.048> 1.66105 with a significance level of 0.003. bro, obtained t count> t table is 2.057> 1.66105 with a significance level of 0.042. Variable tax sanctions affect the taxpayer compliance based on calculations obtained t count> t table that is 1.711> 1.66105 with a significance level of 0.090. Environmental variable taxpayers affect the taxpayer compliance based on the calculation obtained t count> t table that is 3.831> 1.66105 with a significance level of 0,000. Variable awareness (X1), level of knowledge (X2), taxation sanction (X3), and taxpayer environment (X4) based on the calculation, fcount> ftabel is 17,182> 2.00 with a significance level of 0,000. Then simultaneously the variables of awareness, level of knowledge, taxation sanctions, and the environment of taxpayers together affect the compliance of individual taxpayers in Kudus Primary Tax Office in 2018.

Abstract

Background: Adult stem cells are currently reliable sources of mesenchymal stem cells for regenerativetherapy, include diabetes mellitus. The aim of this study is to develop endocrine pancreatic progenitor cellscharacterized by Pdx1 and insulin expression from rat adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells using twosteps in-vitro differentiation. Methods: In this experimental study, ADMSCs were isolated from rat adipose tissue and exposed toinsulinogenic differentiation medium containing nicotinamide, activin A and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP1). After induction, the existence of pancreatic progenitor cells (PPCs) was confirmed by immune-stainingassay of Pdx1 and insulin. Results: After three weeks of in-vitro differentiation, expression of Pdx1 and insulin proteins showed upas green in the immunofluorescence assay. Immunofluorescence intensity of Pdx1 was higher in PPCs thanin ADMSCs control (p<0.05). Immunofluorescence intensity of insulin was also higher in PPCs than inADMSCs control (p<0.05). Therefore, in-vitro differentiation was successful to develop PPCs from ratADMSCsConclusion: This study has demonstrated the in-vitro differentiation of ADMSCs into PPCs that expressedPdx1 and insulin
