Abstract

The use of liniment in effort to self medicate various minor ailments in the Blawong Community is very frequent. Almost all families have a supply of these drugs. This training was conducted in order to introduce how to make rubbing balsem and cream to the group of ‘Aisyiyah IV Blawong Trimulyo Jetis bantul. The stages of the activity were carried out by surveying and coordinating with ‘Aisyiyah group administrators and campus managers. Continue to prepare tools, materials, training materials and administrative equipment. The activity was held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 13.00 and was attended by 30 people. With this training, the women of the ‘Aisyiyah IV Blawong Trimulyo Jetis Bantul have learned how to make rubbing balsam and cream. With this training, it is hoped that the self medicated ability of the women of the group ‘Aisyiyah IV Blawong Trimulyo Jetis Bantul in overcoming the symptoms of minor illnesses such us fever, dizziness, aches, nasal congestion, insect bites and others. This balsam and cream making training also had economic value.

Abstract

Compliance with the use of antituberculosis drugs is very important because if treatment is not carried out regularly, it can cause germ resistance, so that adherence to taking medication affects the success of treatment. This study aims to determine the level of adherence to the use of antituberculosis drugs in pulmonary polyclinic patients at RSU Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. This research is a descriptive obsevasional study with a survey design. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method. Data were obtained from the collection of survey results using a questionnaire on pulmonary polyclinic patient at RSU Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. The total population was 115 patients and the samples obtained were 68 patients. Patient compliance data were analyzed and classified into 3 categories, namely high, medium and low adherence. The results showed that the level of adherence to the use of anti tuberculosis drugs at RSU Muhammadiyah Ponorogo had a high category of 58,82%, a medium category of 41,18% and a low category of 0%.

Abstract

Menstrual pain is abdominal pain that comes from uterine cramps and occurs during menstruation. Pain during menstruation occurs due to increased levels of prostaglandins. The impact that occurs if menstrual pain is not handled properly is the disruption of daily life activities. The study aims to determine the level of knowledge about the management of menstrual pain in female students majoring in Pharmacy at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a survey design. Subjects and population in this study were students majoring in Pharmacy at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta grades 10 to 12 as many as 60 students. The sampling technique used was total sampling with the research variable being the level of knowledge of Pharmacy students regarding the management of menstrual pain. The level of knowledge is measured by looking at the ability of students to answer the questionnaire answers were then classified into 3 categories, namely good, sufficient and lacking. The results showed that the level of knowledge about handling menstrual pain in female students majoring in Pharmacy at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta was in the good category as many as 37 respondents (61,1%), sufficient category 10 respondents (16,6%), poor category 13 respondents (21,6%).
