Abstract

Among Indonesia's many plantation exports, cocoa beans play a starring role. In general, the trends in the export value of cocoa beans is inseparable from external changes including prices, production, and exchange rates. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the independent variables cocoa bean price (X1), rupiah exchange rate (X2), and cocoa bean production (X3) on the dependent variable Indonesian cocoa bean export value (Y). This research uses a quantitative approach in the form of a time series. the data used is secondary data sourced from the Badan Pusat Statistik, Bank Indonesia, and the International Cocoa Organization starting from 2008 to 2022. The data analysis method is multiple linear regression (ordinary Least Square). Based on the results of the analysis obtained information that the price of cocoa beans has a significant impact on the export value of cocoa beans, the rupiah exchange rate has no affect the export value of cocoa beans, and cocoa bean production has a significant impact on the export value of Indonesian cocoa beans.

Abstract

This research aims to show whether the dependent variable, namely Labor Absorption in the Tourism Sector, is influenced by the independent variables (Number of Tourists, Number of Tourist Attractions, Number of Hotels, and Number of Restaurants). This research was conducted using secondary data and time series with a time period of 15 years, namely from 2008 to 2022. Multiple linear regression analysis is a tool used to analyze and is processed using the SPSS 27 application program. The results of this research show that it is known in detail The overall simultaneousness of the independent variables has a positive and significant influence on labor absorption. Then the results of all independent variables, namely the number of tourists, have a significant effect on employment in the tourism sector in Denpasar City. Meanwhile, the number of tourist attractions, hotels and restaurants does not have a significant effect on employment in the tourism sector in Denpasar City.

Abstract

Poverty is an issue faced by both developing and developed countries. Like other developing countries, Indonesia continues to strive to overcome the problem of poverty in its territory which is an obstacle to economic development in the country itself. This research was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of Economic Growth, Dependency Ratio, Education Level, and Minimum Wage on Poverty Levels in Kebumen Regency during the period 2005-2022. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the Kebumen Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The method used in this research is quantitative using multiple linear regression analysis with the BLUE assumption (Best Linear Unbiased Estimate). So that the results obtained simultaneously are Economic Growth, Dependency Ratio, Education Level, and Minimum Wage which together have an effect on Poverty Level, while partially the Economic Growth variable has a negative and insignificant effect, the Dependency Ratio variable has a negative and insignificant effect, the Education Level variable has a positive effect significant, and the Minimum Wage variable has a significant negative effect on the Poverty Level in Kebumen Regency.
