Abstract

This study aims to analyze multiculturalism and multicultural education in general, then will be presented in broad outline, regarding the views of the pros and cons who emerged as a reaction response to the concept of multiculturalism and the concept of multicultural education. This type of research is literature (Library Research) is research by collecting data that have relevance to the issues discussed, whether it comes from books or other written sources (papers, articles, journals or research reports). Data collection techniques conducted in this research is the determination of the issues discussed, digging information according to problems and data analysis. The result of this research can be concluded that (1) Multiculturalism is as a understanding and multicultural education is dimension of praxis of multiculturalism, (2) Implementation of multicultural education in Indonesia has not been done as expected because this discourse is relatively new and is still a matter of debate between leaders and experts. So this concept is new in the on going process and will continue to be tested in the field, (3) Differences in the opinion of multicultural education is due to various matters, especially related to the issue of beliefs and attitudes that are exclusive of the adherents, causing conflict.Keynote:

Abstract

Faith and piety do not go away from prayer education which is a great benefit to life. Prayers can prevent profanity and rebellion, prayer improves discipline in daily life, prayers open the heart to truth and many more benefits of prayer in the spirit. Thus prayer becomes a fundamental measure for measuring the quality of one's faith. So prayers need to be learned, known properly and practiced regularly. For the benefit to be truly felt in everyday life. This type of research is field research with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques using values and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using Pearson Product Moment correlation formula. The learning outcomes of the Safinatun Najah class II santri in the Diniyah Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Madrasah, Gowong Village, Bruno District, Purworejo Regency, are included in the "quite good" category. This can be seen from the mean learning outcomes of the Safinatun Najah Book (variable X) which is 82 are at intervals of 81-85. The implementation of Mahdhah Shalat for students of class II at Diniyah Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Madrasah, Gowong Village, Bruno District, Purworejo Regency, is included in the "good enough" category. intervals of 70-74. Based on quantitative analysis, there is a positive and significant correlation between the learning outcomes of the Book of Safinatun Najah and the implementation of the Mahdhah Shalat santri. Evident from the results of the empirical correlation coefficient (r count) = 0.789 greater than the Pearson Product Moment coefficient (r table) at a significance level of 5% = 0.482 and r table at a significant level of 1% = 0.606. Thus the hypothesis that the researcher proposes can be accepted that "there is a positive or significant correlation or correlation between the results of the study of the Book of Safinatun Najah with the implementation of the Mahdhah prayer for students of class II Madrasah Diniyah Hidayatul Mubtadi'in, Gowong Village, Bruno District, Purworejo District".

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the background of the character education strengthening program in schools, policies for strengthening and developing character education in schools and forms of innovation in PAI learning strategies to improve the religious character of students at SMAN 7 Purworejo.  This type of research is qualitative. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. This study resulted in several statements, namely: (1) The background of the character strengthening program in schools is that schools are one of the important environments in character education and moral degradation occurs (2) the policy of the school's character education program is stated in the vision and mission of the institution and strengthened by the Decree of the Head of School. School about the school's PPK Team. (3) Innovative forms of PAI learning strategies by implementing the development and strengthening of class-based character education, school culture-based and community-based. Assessment of the achievement of character education is carried out by direct observation and monitoring and the use of student activity journals.
