Abstract

This research aims to know the inhibiting factors of the people economic growth in Hiripau village, eastern Mimika district, Mimika regency. This research was done in Mimika regency in August up to December 2014. The collecting of data was done by observation, interviews and questionnaires. The Data analyzed by factor analysis. The results of research showed that the factor of human resources factor, natural resources factor, knowledge and technologi factors, culture factors and capital are the obstacle factors of economic growth in Hiripau village, Mimika Timur district, Mimika regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the significance of the effect of economic growth rates and wage levels on the unemployment rate in Mimika Regency. This study uses associative methods with multiple linear regression analysis tools. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from BPS Mimika Regency, which consists of data on economic growth rates, wage rates, and unemployment rates during the years 2010-2017. Based on the results of this study, it is known that: (a) economic growth variables have no significant effect on unemployment rates in Mimika Regency; (b) wage level variables have a significant effect on the unemployment rate in Mimika Regency; and (c) economic growth variables and wage rates simultaneously have a significant effect on the unemployment rate in Mimika Regency.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are (1) to know the significant difference between trained and non trained farmer in Mimika regency. (2) to know the factors that influence the income difference between trained and non trained farmer in Mimika regency.The analysis instruments used to measure the income difference of trained and non trained farmer in Mimika regency are median test.The result of analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the trained and non trained farmer.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the potential revenue of the Taxicab Kier Test in Mimika Regency and to determine the contribution of the TaxiCab Kier Test to PAD Mimika Regency. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The analysis used in this research is to conduct an analysis of the potential revenue of local revenue from the Kier Taxicab levies. The results of this study indicate that the testing of motorized vehicles against taxiscabs operating in the City of Timika has the potential to increase local revenue or increase fees from motorized vehicle testing

Abstract

Each step of the organization in principle has a variety of needs that are immediately met. The diverse needs such as food, drink, clothing, shelter and also the need for appreciation. This need will be seen as a need that will raise employee morale, so as a leader must be able to provide direction that is linked to the motivation of subordinates so that they can achieve organizational goals. The purpose of this study is to find out how much work motivation and employee performance are and how the relationship between work motivation and employee performance at the Mimika Regency Settlement and Manpower Office. The method used is descriptive and associative methods with a quantitative approach. To measure work motivation using a Likers scale and to measure the relationship of work motivation to employee performance at the Mimika District Manpower Office using a correlation analysis tool (relationship). The results of the analysis show that most (45%) employees at the Mimika Regency Settlement and Manpower Office have work motivation in the fairly high category, and (40%) have performance in the fairly good category. While the relationship between work motivation and employee performance at the Mimika Regency Settlement and Manpower Office, the results of the analysis show that the relationship is very strong.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the determinants of consumer defaults at the Timika Branch of Fifgroup. The method used in this study is a descriptive method to draw a series of factors that are formed to determine consumer defaults at the Timika Branch of Fifgroup. The data collection techniques used by researchers are observation, questionnaires and documentation, the analysis used by researchers is factor analysis. The results showed that there were two factors formed, namely the first factor was external factors as a determinant of consumer defaults in the timika branch of the fifgroup, namely the decline in economic activity and the high interest rates on loans utilizing an unhealthy competition climate by debtors of debtor business failure with the factor of disaster that occurred to debtors, the second factor was internal factors, namely poor faith from officers, weak credit administration and supervision system To overcome the default, Fifgroup Timika Branch should pay more attention specifically to external factors that result in a high risk of default which is the most dominant factor resulting in the level of default risk at Fifgroup Timika Branch. To minimize the occurrence of defaults on internal factors, you should pay more attention to the implementation of the credit process according to the SOP, provide anti-fraud training, improve human resources as a whole.

Implementasi manajemen sumber daya manusia tentu menjadi tindakan yang positif dalam menguatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dan tercapainya tujuan lembaga. Program kerja harus dikelola dengan orang yang tepat dan punya kualitas sehingga selalu ada kesiapan dalam melaksanakan tugas dengan penuh tanggung jawab. Abstract

Air bersih sangat penting bagi keberlangungan hidup masyarakat namun masih banyak masyarakat yang tidak memiliki akses yang cukup terhadap air bersih dan aman, diantaranya adalah masyarakat di Kampung Tipuka. Kebutuhan akan air bersih dan aman di Kampung Tipuka, Distrik Mimika Timur, Kabupaten Mimika merupakan permasalahan utama. Air yang digunakan untuk kebutuhan konsumsi untuk kebutuhan mencuci dan mandi berasal dari air sungai dan air sumur yang berwarna kuning keruh dan berbauh, penyebab air kuning keruh dan berbauh adalah aktivitas endapan lumpur dalam sungai, limba industri PT Freeport Indonsia dan sampah rumah tangga. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan masyarakat di Kampung Tipuka maka perlu dilakukan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dengan metode sosialisasi dan pelatihan meningkatkan kualitas air bersih menggunakan teknik penyaringan sederhana. Hasil kegiatan PKM berjalan dengan baik dan mendapatkan apresiasi dari masyarakat di Kampung Tipuka, Distrik Mimika Timur. Materi sosialiasi mudah dipahami oleh masyarakat dan menambah pengetahuan masyarakat tentang air bersih dan dampak air tercemar limbah bagi kesehatan. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan mendapat apresiasi dari masyarakat karena waktu yang digunakan dalam membuat saringan sederhana tidak memakan waktu yang lama

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to directly find out that there is a COVID-19 outbreak that has a much bigger impact on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in an effort to increase income. This research was conducted in Pasar Rentra Village, Mimika Baru District, Mimika Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method as well as data or information collection techniques in the form of ongoing interviews with 10 informants who have the profession of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises as representatives of MSMEs in the Mimika Baru District Rentra Market. The results found in this research are regarding the spread of the existing COVID-19, so that it will directly have a very significant impact on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. The impact is grouped into several parts, including: (a) income has decreased drastically; (b) lack of consumers; and (c) raw material prices have increased. Therefore, it is necessary for MSMEs to be able to sell online, open a side business, provide good service, and pay attention to the quality of the goods to be sold.
