Abstract

The use of LPG as a fuel alternative to fossil fuels may be more effective and practical. But considering this type of fuel has no color, and is classified as a highly flammable type, if there is a slight leak and the handler is late, that is can cause material losses as well as fatalities. This research aims to (1) create a prototype Arduino-based that can detect LPG gas leak using MQ-2 sensor, Buzzer, and GSM Module. (2) provides information to the user that there is a LPG gas leak. This research uses research and development methods. This research produces a gas leak detector technology system that (1) integrates MQ2, Arduino UNO, Buzzer and GSM Module, if the detected gas concentration level is ≥5000 PPM, this prototype will provide information on the presence of gas leakage to the user through four outputs, LCD for displays the results of reading the concentration of gas, buzzer as an alarm, and the GSM module for sending sms and making phone calls. (2) This warning information will allow users to reduce the risks and potential dangers caused by LPG gas leak.

Abstract

In the case of gas transmission, the calculation of the gas delivered and the gas currently in the pipe is of course required to be a safe amount in the sense of neither less nor more. A condition where the amount of gas is less than the minimum value of the pipe capacity can cause damage to the pipe because the pressure is below the normal point. Meanwhile, conditions where the gas in the pipe exceeds the maximum capacity value is also very dangerous because it can cause accidents such as pipe leaks and explosions. Therefore, this research was carried out to determine the value of forecasting gas demand by PT PGN to be able to find out the range of gas volumes that must be stored and then distributed by Pertamina Gas to meet PT PGN's demand. Forecasting is a technique of predicting the influence of prevailing conditions and situations on future developments. The method generally used in forecasting is the quantitative method using the time series method.

Abstract

Konsep transformasi digital memanfaatkan teknologi digital baru sebagai model aktivitas dan transaksi sehingga muncul Industri bidang internet dan teknologi informasi lainnya. PT Revolusi Cita Edukasi adalah sebuah akademi pembelajaran online yang berfokus yang diciptakan untuk mengembangkan karir dan membekali siswa dengan keterampilan dan pendidikan yang dibutuhkan pada era new digital economy. Metode dalam peneletian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu penelitian kualitatif sederhana yang bersifat deskriptif. Data didapatkan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan program studi independen kampus merdeka bersama PT Revolusi Cita Edukasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya penerapan transformasi digital di Industri 4.0. PT Revolusi Cita Edukasi memberikan dua bidang besar dalam perusahaan teknologi, yaitu data analytics dan software engineering dengan capstone project atau tugas akhir di setiap bidang.

Abstract

PT.XYZ is a company engaged in the business of trading industrial and fabricated goods. PT.XYZ often experiences excessive accumulation of thinner which will cause the storage warehouse to pile up. Therefore, this research aims to develop an effective forecasting model in anticipating the use of Thinner No.17 Jotun at Indonesia . The right forecasting method can help companies plan inventory, reduce the risk of overstock or stockout, and increase efficiency in the supply chain. The development of usage from month to month is increasingly uncertain, so the company wants to know how much Thinner expenditure will be used in the following month by referring to the previous month's expenditure using the single moving average, weighted moving average and single exponential smoothing methods. The software used to assist in this research is POM-QM. From the results of research using the Simple Moving Average method, this method has a MAPE value of 5,841%, the forecast size for the next period, namely period 13, is 285 pcs. This shows that the Simple Moving Average method is the most appropriate method to use to solve the problem of using Thinner No.17 Jotun experienced by PT. XYZ because it has the smallest error value. So it can be concluded that the application of this method provides the right solution for the needs of Thinner No.17 Jotun in the next period.
