Abstract

The existence of Lead (Pb) pollutants in the air that generated by motor vehicle exhaust emissions determined by how large the influence of temperature and humidity tend to change according to time and weather influences. Temperature and humidity Changes in the earth's surface due to solar radiation in the morning-afternoon-evening will give change in the concentration of Pb in the air. With the days variation will be seen the influence of weather that gives the difference in temperature and humidity of each day so that the concentration of Pb in air pollutants, will be varied. This research looked at the extent to which the effect of environmental factors influence, like the temperature and humidity of the Pb concentration in the air. Sampling carried out based on the variation of the morning, afternoon and evening and Sunday till Monday variation. Temperature, humidity and weather conditions were measured and observed directly in the field, while Pb concentrations were analyzed in the laboratory. The results obtained were compared with each other. The results showed that the highest concentration of Pb in the morning, because in the morning the temperature more lower at the Earth's surface and humidity tends to be high which causes pollutants become hard to diluted and difficult to dispersed vertically upwards.Until the Earth's surface temperature rises, along with the increasing of solar radiation which causes the air temperature rises and air expands so as pollutants become diluted. On rainy days where the temperature drops and the humidity rises, the Pb concentrations tend to be higher. The results that obtained also show that the traffic density factor can not be ignored and can affect the the concentration of Pb in the air.

Abstract

Pb concentration in the air mostly come from motor vehicle exhaust. There is a correlation between the levels of activity of motor vehicles with Pb concentration in the air. Research which is a combination of field and laboratory research is seeing Pb concentrations in the air at Jalan H. Rais A. Rahman, Sei Jawi Dalam Pontianak which is one of the areas with the densest vehicle activity in Pontianak, in different variations and then compared with the standard quality. This study consists of three variations, namely variations days (Monday till Sunday); variations in time (morning, afternoon, evening); height variation (1 m, 1.5 m, 2 m) were determined on the day and the maximum time to see the horizontal dispersion concentration of Pb in the air. With comparative and tabulation method and sought the maximum Pb concentration in time, the day and altitude. Based on the research results, obtained maximum Pb concentration in the morning and the minimum in the afternoon, except on Friday and Saturday, where the concentration of Pb afternoon more than the concentration in the afternoon. At the time of maximum Pb concentration morning on Monday and the minimum on Sunday. Tests were carried out on Monday morning, said that a Pb concentrated at a height of ± 1.5 meters from the ground is 4.130 ppm.

Abstract

Abstract. Work facilities are physical supporting means in a company's activities used in production activities. PT. Sanjaya Tekhnik is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry of industrial machine spare parts. The company is experiencing losses due to monthly delays. This is caused by operators not coming to work because they are sick due to their work. Operators complain of several parts of their bodies such as back and spine pain due to constant bending, neck pain due to looking down, pain in the upper arm because operators need force to use tools, and pain in the thighs and calves due to sitting with bent legs. The research method employed involved measuring pain complaints using the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire and assessing work risks using Workplace Ergonomic Risk Assessment (WERA). Pain complaints experienced by operators included neck, shoulder, upper back, lower back, buttocks/thighs, and knees. The assessment of work risks falling into the medium risk level means it requires further investigation and suggests changes in the operator's working posture. The proposed design of work facilities includes a table for hand grinder workstation 1, equipped with drawers, clamping vise, racks/hooks, dividers, storage tubes, and wheels. Meanwhile, for hand grinder workstation 2, the table includes drawers, cushioned pads, racks/hooks, dividers, storage boxes, and wheels. This design was simulated using CATIA software, and the results of the work risk assessment after design and simulation show that they fall into the Low action level, indicating that the work is safe with no resulting work risks. Abstrak. Fasilitas kerja merupakan sarana pendukung dalam aktivitas perusahaan berbentuk fisik yang digunakan dalam kegiatan produksi perusahaan. PT. Sanjaya Tekhnik merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri manufaktur pembuatan sparepart mesin industri. Perusahaan mengalami kerugian karena setiap bulannya terjadi keterlambatan pengiriman. Hal ini disebabkan oleh adanya operator yang tidak masuk kerja karena operator mengalami sakit akibat pekerjaannya. Operator mengalami keluhan dibeberapa bagian tubuh seperti sakit pinggang dan punggung karena selalu membungkuk, nyeri pada tengkuk leher karena menunduk, nyeri pada bagian lengan atas karena operator memerlukan tenaga untuk menggunakan alat bantu, dan nyeri pada paha dan betis karena sikap kerja duduk dengan kaki menekuk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah melakukan pengukuran keluhan rasa sakit menggunakan kuesioner Nordic Body Map (NBM), penilaian risiko kerja menggunakan Workplace Ergonomic Risk Assessment (WERA) dan perancangan fasilitias kerja menggunakan pendekatan antropometri. Keluhan rasa sakit yang di alami operator pada bagian leher, bahu, punggung atas, punggung bawah, bokong/paha dan lutut. Hasil penilaian risiko kerja masuk kedalam risk level medium artinya membutuhkan investigasi lebih lanjut dan disarankan adanya perubahan pada postur kerja operator. Perancangan fasilitas kerja yang di usulkan yaitu berupa meja untuk stasiun kerja gerinda tangan 1 yang dilengkapi laci, ragum penjepit, rak/gantungan, pembatas, tabung penyimpanan dan roda. Sedangkan meja untuk stasiun kerja gerinda tangan 2 yang dilengkapi laci, alas bantalan, rak/gantungan, pembatas, kotak penyimpanan dan roda. Perancangan tersebut dilakukan simulasi menggunakan software CATIA, hasil penilaian risiko kerja setelah dilakukan perancangan ketika disimulasikan berada pada action level Low, menunjukan bahwa pekerjaan aman dan tidak adanya risiko kerja yang ditimbulkan.

Abstract

Currently, there have been three new autonomous regions established as a result of regional expansion in Papua Island, namely South Papua Province, Central Papua Province, and Papua Mountain Province. The formation of new provinces is expected to become a prime mover for accelerating equitable economic development in the Papua region. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a study to analyze the impact of the formation of the province on the economic performance of Papua Island. The method used is the Final Demand Impact analysis of the Input-Output (I-O) Table. The results of this study indicate that the formation of the province has an impact on increasing the economic output of Papua Island by 37.7 percent and 69.5 percent for an increase in added value and contributing to an increase in employment of 71.1 percent or as many as 1.5 million people. The improvement in the economic performance of Papua Island, in turn, will indirectly have a positive effect on improving people's welfare and strengthening regional competitiveness and the contribution of the regional economy to the national economy. In addition, it also reduces the level of inequality in economic development nationally, which is still dominated by Java Island.
