Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil kemampuan representasi matematis siswa SMP ditinjau dari self efficacy. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek yang di ambil adalah 3 siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 2 Kaliwungu semester gasal tahun ajaran 2020/2021 yang masing-masing mempunyai self efficacy tinggi, self efficacy sedang, dan self efficacy rendah. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan skala self efficacy, tes tertulis, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan 3 tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi metode yaitu membandingkan hasil tes kemampuan representasi dengan hasil wawancara. Analisis dikembangkan berdasarkan indikator kemampuan representasi matematis dengan memperhatikan self efficacy yang dimiliki. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diketahui bahwa subjek dengan self efficacy tinggi juga memiliki kemampuan representasi tinggi. Subjek dengan self efficacy sedang juga memiliki kemampuan representasi sedang. Subjek dengan self efficacy rendah juga memiliki kemampuan representasi rendah.ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the profile of the mathematical representation ability of junior high school students in terms of self-efficacy. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects were 3 grade IX students at SMP Negeri 2 Kaliwungu in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 school year, each of whom had high self-efficacy, moderate self-efficacy, and low self-efficacy. Data collection was carried out using a self-efficacy scale, written tests, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique was executed in 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions / verification. The validity of the data used triangulation method, by comparing the results of the representation ability test with the results of the interview. The analysis is developed based on the indicator of mathematical representation ability by paying attention to the owned self-efficacy. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that subject with high self-efficacy also has high representation abilities. Subject with moderate self-efficacy also has moderate representation abilities. Subject with low self-efficacy also has low representation skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran trigonometri dan menanamkan nilai-nilai yang menjadi karakter bangsa melalui model pembelajaran problem posing tipe pre solution posing secara kelompok berbasis Karakter bangsa pada mahasiswa IKIP PGRI Semarang Jurusan Matematika semester 2. Pada penelitian ini akan digunakan 2 siklus, yang masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu (a)Persiapan, (b) Penerapan Metode, (c) Observasi dan Interprestasi (d) Analisis dan refleksi untuk rencana berikutnya. Dari hasil penelitian ketuntasan belajar klasikal pada siklus 1 diperoleh 77,42 %?é?á dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal yang diperoleh pada siklus 2 mampu mencapai 93,55%. Dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan dengan pembelajaran trigonometri melalui model pembelajaran problem posing berbasis karakter bangsa ini ?é?ádapat; (1) meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang berimbas pada peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa, (2) Meningkatkan minat mahasiswa untuk belajar matakuliah Trigonometri, dan (3) Menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter bangsa. ?é?á Kata kunci : Kualitas pembelajaran, Model pembelajaran problem posing, Karakter bangsa

Abstract

The main problems of SMP Negeri 34 Semarang are (1) do not have human resources who capable of implementing blended learning, especially by using the google form and google classroom; (2) teachers have not used information technology optimally; (3) the teacher is not yet technically optimal in publishing teaching materials and instructional media using technology. Therefore, to improve the teachers’ ability in providing learning media that are more interesting and enjoyable, a blended learning workshop is provided for making google forms and google classroom. The methods in this partnership program are lectures, practices, questions-answers and assignments. The program was occured for two days with details of the first day's workshop on google forms along with their practices and assignments. Meanwhile, the second day's workshop was on google classroom along with practices and assignments. The results of this activity are workshop participants are able to create an account, design teaching materials and evaluation tools through google forms and google classroom. In addition, teachers are more technically optimal in publishing teaching materials and learning media using technology.

Abstract

This study aims to identify how the process of critical thinking of prospective teachers in solving mathematical problems in the Department of Mathematics Education, Faculty of Science and Technology, Walisongo State Islamic University, is viewed from a qualitative learning style. The purposive sampling method was used to determine six prospective teachers as research subjects. Each visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning style is represented by 2 subjects. The auxiliary instruments in this study consisted of a learning style questionnaire, a critical thinking ability test, and an interview guide. Critical thinking indicators were developed through consideration of the main elements of FRISCO, the level of cognitive thinking according to Bloom and the Steps of Problem Solving According to John Dewey. Data processing through the stages of data collection, data reduction, and data verification with the triangulation method. The results of the study show that auditory and kinesthetic learning styles have lower critical thinking process characteristics than visual learning styles in solving math problems. From the interview process it was revealed that the ability to argue based on valid and logical facts, all types of learning styles is still quite low. However, all three have strong potential to develop critical thinking skills through stimulation from educators.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan kemampuan yang harus dikuasai siswa dalam menjawab tantangan global abad 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen tes untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau kritis siswa berbasis PjBL STEM dengan pendekatan etnomatematika. Penelitian ini ialah penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Borg and Gall yang memuat enam tahapan yaitu mengumpulkan informasi, kemudian perencanaan, pengembangan, validasi ahli serta uji coba serta revisi produk. Subjek penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas VIII D SMP Negeri 2 Randublatung Kabupaten Blora. Instrumen yang dipakai ialah lembar instrumen tes dan lembar validasi. Menurut hasil penelitian, diperoleh bahwa (1) hasil validasi ahli untuk Instrumen tes ini yaitu 84,25% yang berkategori sangat baik. (2) keseluruhan butir pada Instrumen tes dikatakan valid dan reliabel. (3) Taraf kesukaran pada Instrumen tes bervariasi yaitu sulit dan mudah. (4) Daya pembeda pada Instrumen tes hampir keseluruhan berkategori sangat baik. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa instrumen tes untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis matematis berbasis PjBL STEM dengan pendekatan etnomatematika pada materi teorema Pythagoras memenuhi kriteria layak dan valid.
