Abstract

In today’s competitive business environment advertisement and constant promotion techniques are being frequently used to motivate purchasers and attract them to purchase a particular product. The study aimed to examine the relationship between types of advertisement with consumer purchasing choice in retailer stores in Erbil. The researchers gathered data through questionnaires from randomly selected customers; however 268 purchasers were involved in the current study. The findings revealed that the highest value was for online advertisement has the strongest relationship with consumer purchasing choice in retailer stores in Erbil, on the other hand outdoor advertisement has the weakest relationship with consumer purchasing choice in selecting certain retailer store in Erbil. Retailer stores should to keep up with market development to enable attracts customers. The marketplace is currently in the internet generation which indicates that retailer stores should invest more efforts and time in creating effective social media connections and provide online shopping to the customer to get closer.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the factors affecting stock exchange investment in Kurdistan and particularly in Erbil. Developing countries can also make use of these markets to develop their economy, though this process could be something new for some developing countries. The stock exchange investment is often the choice for businesses seeking lucrative investment deals. As the place where monetary transactions are made, investors usually take their chances in these markets based on studying expected revenues and risks accompanying said investments. Investors usually avoid high-revenue investments due to the great risks accompanying them and accept low-risk investments with little revenues. A quantitative method used to analyse the present research. The study was carried in Erbil. The researcher distributed 100 questionnaires, only 71 questionnaires were received and being completed properly. The researcher used single regression analysis in order to find factors affecting investment in stock exchange. The findings revealed that the highest value among all variables was supply & demand factor that influence stock, the second highest value was for economy factor then the third factor was competition factor and lastly the lowest value was for politic factor. According the findings, it seems that supply and demand play an essential role in investment in stock exchange in Kurdistan.

Abstract

Nowadays most industries used service quality in various field.  All industries are implementing five service quality dimensions; these dimensions are tangible, assurance, reliability, responsiveness, and empathy. The main aim of this research is to investigate hotels’ service quality and its affect on guests’ satisfaction in Erbil. Moreover, to find which service quality dimension has more affect than the other quality dimensions. The researcher utilized a quantitative research method to measure the relationship between each service quality dimension on guests’ satisfaction. A questionnaire was adapted and distributed on guests at hotels in Erbil. 111 questionnaires completed and received from hotel guests in Erbil. The findings showed that the responsive as service dimension had the highest value; on the other hand assurance as service dimension had the lowest value.
