Abstract

Having unlimited needs and wants, humans as economic beings will struggle to meet their needs. In this modern era, shopping for human needs and desires has become easier to do with the availability of various stores and malls to online retail. This ease of shopping has increased interest in shopping for unlimited material needs and indulges Indonesians to continue making purchases in order to develop uncontrolled compulsive buying behavior. Therefore the authors aim to examine the effect of materialism on compulsive buying mediated by the use of credit cards and impulsive buying. The object of this research is credit card users in Batam. Sampling was done by giving a google form questionnaire to credit card users in the city of Batam. Demographic data of respondents were then analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 25.0 and analysis of the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable was carried out using Smart PLS version 3.2.8. The results of this study indicate that the variables of materialism, use of credit cards and impulsive buying have a significant effect on compulsive buying.

Abstract

Abstract:The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that investors should consider in stock investment decision making. This research was conducted to assess the interest in investing and consideration when investing which is influenced by representative bias, availability bias, and locus of control. This research was tested using Smart PLS application. Data collection from this study was conducted by distributing questionnaires as many as 353 people in Batam city. Representative bias significantly positively affects investment decision making, availability bias significantly and positively in investment decisions, availability bias moderated locus of control has no effect on investment decision making, and representative bias moderated locus of control has no effect on investment decision making. This research facilitates investors in making investment decisions in Batam city, judging from several factors that influence the decision making helps investors in determining investment and considering every factor that influences Decision making. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa faktor yang harus dipertimbangkan investor dalam pengambilan keputusan investasi Saham. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menilai ketertarikan dalam melakukan investasi dan pertimbangan saat berinvestasi yang dipengaruhi oleh representative bias, availability bias, dan locus of control. Penelitian ini di uji dengan menggunakan aplikasi Smart PLS. Pengumpulan data dari penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner sebanyak 353 orang yang berada kota Batam. Representative bias secara signifikan positif mempengaruhi investment desicion making, availability bias secara signifikan dan positif dalam keputusan investasi, availability bias yang dimoderasi locus of control tidak berpengaruh terhadap investment decision making, dan representative bias yang dimoderasi locus of control tidak berpengaruh terhadap investment decision making. Penelitian ini memberi kemudahan investor dalam mengambil keputusan investasi di kota Batam, dilihat dari beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan ini membantu para investor dalam menentukan investasi dan mempertimbangkan setiap faktor yang mempengaruhi Decision making.

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to analyze factors that affect the profability of conventional banks of Batam city with the influence of capital adequacy ratio, non performing loan, loan to deposit ratio, BOPO, and net interest margin of return on asset during of period 2014-2019. This study is quantitative method from secondary data with the object of research as many as 27 banks conventional of Batam city.

Abstract

Penjualan suatu usaha bukan hanya berasal dari persiapan penjual atau pemilik usaha untuk menjalankan usahanya. Banyak faktor-faktor di luar dari faktor internal penjual yang sedikit atau banyaknya mempengaruhi tingkat penjualan suatu usaha. Ketersediaan bahan baku, transportasi, bentuk masyarakat dalam menilai suatu usaha, maupun tingkat harga pasaran juga turut mempengaruhi keberlangsungan usaha. Penelitian ini dilakukan guna memberikan analisa faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat penjualan UMKM kuliner yang ada di Kota Batam dengan menggabungkan faktor internal dan eksternal. Variabel promosi dan inovasi, dan kekonsistenan pelaku sebagai bagian dari faktor internal, kemudian variabel transportasi dan sosial masyarakat sebagai bagian dari faktor eksternal.            Penelitian ini menggunakan objek penelitian pelaku/umkm kuliner Kota Batam dengan mengumpulkan sampel/data penelitian berbasis kuisioner melalui google form untuk kemudian diisi dan diolah menggunakan program SPSS untuk melihat dan menilai seberapa besar ataupun bagaimana pengaruh variabel yang diangkat dalam menentukan variabel terikat dalam hal ini merupakan tingkat penjualan. Setelah pengujian dan analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa promosi dan inovasi, kekonsistenan pelaku UMKM, transportasi dan sosial masyarakat secara signifikan positif mempengaruhi tingkat penjualan UMKM Kuliner.
