Abstract

ABSTRACT AURA / OMI satellite data with a spatial resolution of 0.25 ÌŠ x 0.25 ÌŠ can be used to determine the concentration of pollutants in areas that have not been observed, one of them is NO2. NO2 total column concentrations derived from AURA / OMI satellite represent the density of pollutants vertically from the surface to the height of the troposphere, so it is necessary to calculate and estimate NO2 concentrations on the surface. The purpose of this study was to validate the surface NO2 concentrations estimation with the surface observation data at the Atmospheric Monitoring Post in Cisarua from January 2017 to December 2018. Estimation of surface NO2 concentration using AURA / OMI satellite was calculated by including vertical column density from CAMs model. The validation method used are correlation with significance test and error analysis using Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). Based on the calculation, the highest correlation coefficient obtained is 0.31 in March-April-May with significant test in the annual period and the March-April-May period. Error analysis results showed the lowest error value is in September-October-November while the highest value is in December-January-February. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on all aspects of human life, including public organizations. An organization requires management related to efforts to achieve goals that depend on the performance of the individual organization in carrying out the assigned tasks. This study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership and workload during the Covid-19 pandemic on the performance of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) technicians with an analysis focus on the comparison of generations X, Y, and Z. The population in this study were BMKG technicians who were scattered throughout in Indonesia by calculating the sample using the Slovin formula. The method used in this research is quantitative with instrument testing to determine the validity and reliability of the data, then classical assumption test, model accuracy test and hypothesis. The results of the study show that the data are normally distributed and valid, and transformational leadership has a positive effect with the largest value on Y generation, and workload has the largest positive effect on X generation.

Abstract

The productivity of an organization's performance in government can be influenced by various factors, one of the strongest factors that greatly influences the process of increasing or decreasing productivity, among others, comes from the leadership model and the application of discipline. This research was conducted using a systematic review method which aims to review published empirical research on transformational leadership that affects employee performance productivity and is mediated by discipline in government organizations. The data search strategy was carried out by a selection process from the Google Scholar, ProQuest, and Mendeley libraries. The study quality of the literature was assessed by analyzing the instrument, design and research results. The results of data extraction get the 10 best journals using the keywords transformational leadership, discipline, productivity, and governance. Based on a literature study that was systematically reviewed, the authors found that well-implemented transformational leadership can increase employee productivity in government through strengthening the application of discipline which is strongly influenced by leadership itself. So, it can be concluded that the hypothesis built in the study can be fulfilled.
