Abstract

In Desa Tumbang Randang, a significant number of children struggled to distinguish and correctly color pictures or sketches. Recognizing coloring as a crucial skill for kindergarten children, a Community Engagement (PkM) initiative was launched. This program aimed to enhance children's coloring abilities, focusing on image texture sensitivity, finger adaptation, sensory awareness, and vocabulary expansion through the introduction of colors and image types. The research assessed children's development before and after participating in guided coloring activities. Initial observations noted that some children were rarely involved in such activities. The project's dream was to enable children to competently apply color combinations. During the design phase, mentors physically guided the children's hands, teaching them to color within boundaries. The define phase involved observing each child's color combination skills and their ability to express these on paper. This initiative, running from August 7 to 11, 2023, also aimed to benefit parents, locals, and village officials. It was conducted by IAKN Palangka Raya students through a cross-program educational approach. The results indicated improvements in the children's abilities to color pictures, compare and combine colors, and articulate color names using colored pencils. Additionally, the children exhibited increased independence and self-confidence, as evidenced by their artwork displayed on walls, celebrating their creative achievements.

Abstract

Based on the qualitative research, data seeking technique was applied through literature reviews. Literature studies used secondary sources or previous research from researchers associated with music, aesthetics, and the New Testament. The previous studies showed a diversity of views which led to aesthetic participation of music in melodies, rhythms and tempos in an axiological sense and musical aesthetics as a depiction of feelings, struggles (parents, children, [female] activists), and manuscript excavation tools throughout the ages. These tools of aesthetics are fused with the thoughts of philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer who spoke of aesthetics, desire and ideas. The intention of our research is to demonstrate the network of previous researches as an intertwined encounter with one another to counter the aesthetic ultimacy that considers one aesthetic preferable to another in music and even in the New Testament. The research results reveal the existence of a space of togetherness between aesthetic diversity in and through music as a dynamic tension through the insight of Arthur Schopenhauer.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is merely to examine the philosophy of idealism that seems to be self-oriented (thing-in-itself in/or I) or as if narcissistic anthropocentric and the source of the problem of evil is evil as the logical consequence as the stigma, but when it unfolds in education, whether it be Christian education or education management, it itself then becomes signified, interpreted and signaled. Qualitative research with data search techniques through secondary sources presents various philosophical perspectives as an overview while talking about the philosophy of idealism from Emmanuel Kant, Cartesian, Martin Heidegger, and Quentin Meillassoux through various journals related to researchers' searches. Results show that the philosophy of idealism that departs from the self (thinking, chatting and crossing) becomes spatial constructs in education, including Christian religious education or in researchers' discipline, namely Christian education management.

Abstract

This research examines the concept of "Belom Bahadat" as a deep legal culture in the Dayak community in Palangka Raya, using the perspective of Max Weber and Talcott Parsons. This concept not only includes formal aspects of law, but also represents ethical-religious values and social integration mechanisms that are important in the life of the Dayak community. Max Weber's perspective helps us understand how "Belom Bahadat" is closely related to religious values and traditional legitimacy, while Talcott Parsons' perspective highlights the role of this concept in maintaining social stability and societal cohesion. Using a qualitative approach and documentation analysis, data was collected through participant observation and in-depth interviews with members of the Dayak community. The research results show that the concept of "Belom Bahadat" not only acts as a formal legal system, but also as a cultural foundation that regulates the behavior, social interactions and life patterns of the Dayak people. The ethical-religious values represented by "Belom Bahadat" have a strong influence in shaping the social order and maintaining the continuity of Dayak community culture. The conclusion of this research is that the perspectives of Max Weber and Talcott Parsons provide valuable insight in understanding the complexity of the concept of "Belom Bahadat" as the legal culture of the Dayak community in Palangka Raya. By integrating these two perspectives, we can better understand the role of values, social structures, and integration mechanisms in forming and maintaining the concept of "Belom Bahadat" in the lives of Dayak people.

Abstract

Background information for the study was based on the stereotype that exists in society that engineering majors, particularly those related to mining geology, are responsible for causing natural disasters and hastening the deterioration of the environment due to what is learned in the classroom. Furthermore, the qualitative research method uses an interview approach or technique. The interview involved one of the teachers and students in 3 SMK Negeri Buntok, Central Kalimantan. Before conducting interviews, the researcher surveyed the location first by traveling four hours from Palangka Raya. After that, the researcher recorded the interview with the research subject through audio. The audio was transmitted into the interview transcript. Results of interview transcripts that were close to the research were then classified into factual solids and themes. The closest themes were analyzed through references linked to the results and discussion section. Results showed non-quantifiable narratives through various activities of students and teachers, namely through Cambodia, Alamanda, and Asoka, that although they come from Mining Geology majors, they are also entitled and responsible for the sustainability of the mining environment through official procedures in terms of waste management and nature.
