<![CDATA[Abstrak Perusahaan - perusahaan sepeda motor matic harus bersaing secara kompetitif untuk mempertahankan produk mereka, oleh karena itu penentuan posisi atau positioning terhadap merek – merek sepeda motor matic sangat diperlukan agar perusahaan bisa mengetahui letak atau posisi produk mereka terhadap pesaingnya dapat digunakan metode analisis multivariat yaitu analisis Biplot. Biplot merupakan teknik statistika deskriptif berupa representasi grafik yang dapat menyajikan secara simultan n buah objek dan p buah variabel dalam satu grafik berdimensi dua. Dengan melakukan SVD kita akan memperoleh koordinat biplot. Dalam penelitian ini Biplot memiliki kergaman sebesar 82% dan hasilnya adalah posisi motor matic Spin dan Vario sebagai sepeda motor matic yang lebih baik di mata responden dibandingkan dengan Beat, Sky Wave, Mio Soul dan Mio. Dan masih banyak atribut – atribut yang harus ditingkatkan oleh masing – masing perusahaan sepeda motor matic untuk meningkatkan kwalitas produk mereka. Therefore, positioning of matics motorcycle is very necessary in order to know the position of their product competitors. Biplot is statistic descriptif technic that similary plots of the n observations, but simultaneously they give plots of the relative positions of the p variables in two dimensions.By using Singular Value Decompotition we will get Biplot’s coordinate. In this research the variation of Biplot is 82% . Spin and Vario matics as the result. These motorcycle are good than Beat, Sky Wave, Mio Soul and Mio.
