Abstract

Case samples were taken by purposive sampling technique of 50 respondents of pregnant women with a history of Diabetes Mellitus Gestational and with obesity history. Independent variables with a history of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus and Obesity and dependent variables were perinatal complications and maternal. Using Chi Square statistical test data is analyzed by calculating odds ratio. The result showed that the odds ratio was shown by estimate value of 0.365 and p value = 0,015 (<0,05). H1 received OR<1 this means pregnant women with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus have a risk factor 0,3 times the risk of experiencing complications than pregnant women with a history of Obesity. Therefore the role of nurses need to provide socialization to lower blood sugar levels and perform routine ANC so that thus reducing the risk of complications.

Abstract

Abstract Background : Anemia decreases concentration in learning, decreases physical ability, work productivity, and thinking ability in adolescents. The purpose of this study was to prove the difference in effectiveness of the administration of Moringa oleifera leaf and honey to hemoglobin levels in anemia. Methods: This study used the true experimental design with the post test only control group design method, in 21 rats selected through random sampling technique divided into 3, namely 7 moringa leaf extract groups, 7 honey groups, and 7 control groups. The variable measured in this study was the difference in hemoglobin levels after intervention. This study uses the independent statistical test T-test. Results: The results of the study in all 100% treatment groups experienced a significant increase in hemoglobin levels with an average post test score for Moringa leaf extract 18.17 g / dl higher than honey supply with an average score of 17.57 g / dl. Based on the Independent T-test analysis, p-value = 0.016 was obtained so that there were differences in the effectiveness of Moringa leaf extract and honey on hemoglobin levels. While Moringa leaf extract is more effective than honey in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia. Conclusion: This is because Moringa leaves contain iron compounds, vitamin C, and folic acid which can increase hemoglobin levels. Meanwhile, honey contains Fe minerals and is rich in vitamins which can increase the number of erythrocytes/Hb levels

Abstract

The highest cause of maternal mortality is eclampsia with 31% rating, researchers found almost 75% of mothers did not know the signs of preeclampsia even some mothers only check their pregnancy if there is a grievance only. Aims of this study was to analyze the relationship of knowledge and attitude of pre eclampsia mother about antenatal care needs in Badas sub-district, Kediri regency. This research use correlation design and cross sectional approach, a total of 26 respondent were found with total sampling technique. Which knowledge of mother with pre eclampsia as independent variable, and the attitude as its dependent. The data were analyzed with Spearman Rank, the result showed that most (65,4%) knowledge of preeklampsia mother about antenatal care needs was good, half (50%) attitude of preeclampsia mother about antenatal care requirement was positive and negative. Researcher found Pvalue = 0,003, <α = 0,05 and r = 0,567. Thus, there is a correlation between knowledge with attitude of mother of preeclampsia about antenatal care requirement with medium correlation level. The existence of relationship between knowledge and attitude on pre eclampsia mother with a good knowledge level in antenatal care needs can influence mother comprehension in deciding and choosing the attitude that will be taken. Researcher expected every mother can share their experience and information to another mother and society especially to pregnant womans, researcher hope by sharing description and information about pre eclampsia with everyone will be helpful and we can overcome several of pregnancy problem based on the experience from several people.

Abstract

Stress in third-trimester pregnant women is often experienced due to physical and psychological changes. A spiritual intervention that can be applied is the Repetitive Prayer: Al-Fatihah therapy for stress levels in pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of stress management (Repetitive Prayer Al-Fatihah) on stress levels in pregnant women at Pare health center, Kediri Regency. Pre Experimental research design (One Group Pre-Post Test Design). The sample size was 14 respondents using accidental sampling. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test. The results obtained before the intervention showed that most respondents (64.3%) had moderate stress levels. Meanwhile, after the intervention showed that most of the respondents (64.3%) experienced a decrease in stress levels in the mild stress category. The results of the Wilcoxon Test show the effect of stress management (repetitive prayer: Al-Fatihah) on the stress level of pregnant women at pare health center Kediri Regency with p-value = 0.002 <α = 0.05. This intervention contains asy-syafiyah (healer), asy-syukr (gratitude), and ar-ruqyah (incantation) which sound waves transmitted to the cerebral through the primary visual cortex transmitted to the left angular gyrus, Wernicke's area, Broca's area, and motor cortex thereby increasing production of endorphins which reduce stress in third-trimester pregnant women. It is recommended that third trimester pregnant women perform this non-pharmacological therapy to reduce stress regularly experienced during worship and leisure time.
