Abstract

Time management is the process of timing to achieve specific goals. Some students who are involved in the organization forget about their responsibilities as students that must be completed. Therefore, this study aims to find out the motivation of activist students who have delaying their graduation. This study involved final-level students of IAIN Surakarta, especially the class of 2015-2016 with a sample of two informants. The data was collected through interviews and observations, so that this study used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques.  Based on the results of data, the reason why final-year students delay their graduation is because they are too fond and are comfortable in the organization. By organizing they can develop interests and talents that they cannot get outside the organization. By organizing they get experience and various positive things that they find in the organization only, get busy, entertainment until finally they neglect the final assignment of college as students.

Abstract

Parental assistance often influences the role of children to maintain good habits. Assistance that is not optimal allows children to freely do bad things to themselves and others. This study aims to determine how parents can assist their children in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The method for data collection is interviews. The research sample consisted of parents of students at SD Islam Terpadu Taqiyya Rosyida Surakarta. In selecting the subject, the researcher took 3-5 respondents who were taken randomly. The results of the study identified that there is a lack of parents who do not pay much attention to their children's learning assistance by leaving it to their grandparents, uncle or aunt, or to their wives only. How to accompany learning with the method of games, storytelling, and assignments as well as supervision while learning.
