Abstract

This study was purposed at examining the work motivation and leadership style on employee performance. The sample used in this study consisted of 15 respondents from 35 employees. The sampling method used is purposive sampling, the data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, the regression equation obtained was Y = 22.100 + 1.167 X1 + 0.420 X2 + e. The result of the research by using t-test that leadership style and work motivation have a significant positive influence on employee performance. The results simultaneously using F-test showed that all independent variables significantly affect employee performance coefficient determinant (R2) is 0,594 which means 59% employee performance is explained by independent variables, where 41% is explained by other variables that are not followed. Keywords: Work Motivation, Leadership Style, Employee Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of compensation and competence on performance with motivation as a variable intervening an employee. The research has been conducted for 6 months, namely June to December 2019 at the Central Bureau of Statistics of Kota Lubuklinggau, South Sumatra Province, Indonesia. The population in this research were 133 respondents. This research is explanatory research using primary data and secondary data. Primary data collection methods use interview techniques and questionnaires, in addition to conducting field observations. Secondary data were collected using documentation techniques. The data analysis uses the statistical analysis of the Structural Equation Model (SEM) based on predetermined hypotheses including compensation, competence, and motivation which partially or jointly affect the performance of partners at the Central Bureau of Statistics Office in Kota Lubuklinggau. The results showed that the aspects of compensation and competence at the Office of the Central Bureau of Statistics in Kota Lubuklinggau have not been fulfilled optimally. Partially, there is a positive and significant relationship between compensation toward motivation, competence toward performance, compensation and competence toward performance, but there is no positive and significant effect between compensation toward performance, motivation toward performance, as well as compensation-competence-motivation together toward performance, and there is also a positive but not significant influence between competence toward motivation. The results of this research indicate that there needs to be an improvement in competence and compensation from the Office of the Central Bureau of Statistics of Kota Lubuklinggau to its partners.

Abstract

BUMDES merupakan badan usaha yang seluruh atau sebagian modalnya berasal dari desa. Berharap modal yang tidak terpakai nantinya dapat digunakan untuk menambah pendapatan awal desa, yang akan membantu menciptakan lapangan kerja atau meningkatkan pelayanan masyarakat yang baik. Akar penyebab banyak kegagalan BUMD dalam implementasi dan operasionalnya tidak berhasil karena faktor SDM yang tidak berat dalam implementasinya. Langkah kegiatan amal yang akan dilakukan adalah pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui penguatan kelembagaan BUMDes dan SDM, serta pelatihan aspek hukum, ekonomi dan administrasi di Desa Padang Kuas Kecamatan Sukaraja Kabupaten Seluma Provinsi Bengkulu. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Desa Padang Kuas Kecamatan Sukaraja Kabupaten Seluma Provinsi Bengkulu dapat disimpulkan bahwa: a) Dalam jangka panjang pengabdian ini memperkuat masyarakat dengan penguatan kelembagaan dan SDM BUMDes melalui pelatihan aspek hukum, keuangan dan administrasi di Desa Padang Kuas Kecamatan Sukaraja Kabupaten Seluma Provinsi Bengkulu. Pembenahan pengelolaan BUMDes membutuhkan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang benar-benar memahami seluk beluk pengelolaan dan mampu memasarkan produk yang dikelola BUMDes. b) Mesin desa sebagai sasaran program terbantu dan mereka bangga dengan kinerja PKM. Dalam hal ini, para kepala BUMDes mengharapkan bantuan tambahan terkait industri kreatif yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan asli kota. c) Mesin desa sebagai sasaran program perlu bantuan tambahan untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMD) dan agar nantinya menyusun laporan pertanggungjawaban keuangan secara tepat dan benar sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip keuangan yang berlaku umum, d) diperlukan. BUMDes Dalam Pendampingan Pengelolaan PKM ini untuk meningkatkan proses pengelolaan program BUMDes serta pengelolaan badan hukum, pengelolaan administrasi dan jawaban keuangan untuk pertanggungjawaban. Kata Kunci: Penguatan, Kelembagaan, BUMDes
