Abstract

One challenge encountered in the learning process is the inadequate utilization of digital-based learning media during study sessions. Thus far, traditional learning materials have been employed, including textbooks and workbooks. The research problem at hand pertains to the insufficient utilization of digital-based media for ICT Guidance instruction in junior high school classes VIII. This study intends to generate high-quality instructional videos. Using the 4-D development model, this form of research is development research known as Research & Development (R&D). The phases of this development model are as follows: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Three validators, including two media expert validators and one material expert validator, conducted the media validator test. A practicality exam was administered to 32 eighth-grade students from Padang City State Middle School 22 in order to evaluate the efficacy of the instructional video product. Based on the findings of the study, material validation results average 4.8 and are classified as "Very Valid," media validator 1 validation results average 4.9 and are categorized as "Very Valid," and media validator 2 validation results average 4.7 and are categorized as "Very Valid." The results of product practicality trials, which average 4.4, are classified as "Very Practical." Hence, this medium is appropriate for utilization.

Abstract

Pengkajian ini berlatar belakang perolehan observasi yang dilakukan penulis pada salah satu sekolah menengah atas yakni SMA N 1 Dua Koto. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan pengamatan yang penulis laksanakan, penulis mengamati bahwa keaktifan siswa terhadap belajar Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat SMA kelas X masih cukup rendah karena masih banyak terdapat siswa yang bermain-main masih terdapat murid yang mengantuk ketika belajar. Dikarnakan kurangnya media yang dipakai. Media yang digunakan guru untuk media belajar hanya berupa buku pegangan dan LKS serta beberapa slide powerpoint yang di download melalui internet saja sehingga membuat materi yang diajarkan menjadi monoton dan bergantung pada teks, oleh sebab itu siswa merasa bosan dan menjadi kurang semangat. Guna pengkaji mencoba meningkatkan media belajar berupa multimedia interaktif yang bertujuan guna menolong guru pada tahap pembelajaran juga bisa membangkitkan minat serta motivasi murid guna mengikuti pembelajaran agar lebih aktif.Multimedia interaktif berupa peningkatan digital serta teknologi yang bisa melihatkan wawasan serta laporan pada wujud yang utuh melalui sebagian gabungan antar format mencakup: grafis, teks, animasi serta video. Media yang ditingkatkan memakai aplikasi Microsoft PowerPoint serta alat bantu Inspring Suite. Penulis menentukan powerpoint menjadi bentuk guna meningkatkan media ini sebab powerpoint berkaitan pada pendidikan.Pengkajian ini berjenis Research and Development (RD). umumnya dimaknai tehnik ilmiah guna memperoleh data untuk suatu target atau manfaat. Model yang dipakai mencakup 4-D (design, define, disseminate, develop). Data pengkajian ini diperoleh melalui pengujian validitas (Val oleh ahli media dan ahli materi), dan selanjutnya yaitu uji praktikalitas (angket respon dari siswa). Perolehan pengkajian melihatkan jika multimedia pembelajaran ini telah sangat valid untuk uji validitas maupun uji praktikalitas. Multimedia Interaktif ini sudah sangat layak baik dari segi isi, tampilan dan pengoperasiannya sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to evaluate the effect of using video learning media on the learning outcomes of class VIII students in Social Sciences (IPS) subjects at SMP Negeri 39 Padang. This type of research is experimental research. With samples from classes VIII/4 and VIII/5 which consist of 2 classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class, namely class VIII/5, was treated using learning videos and the control class, namely class VIII/4, was treated using textbooks. The sample used was Purposive Sampling. This research was conducted on social studies subjects with material on Indonesia's Resource Potential. By processing data using Normality Test, Homogeneity Test and Hypothesis Test. To test the hypothesis, this research uses the t test statistic, with a significance level of α 0.05. The research results showed that the average score for the experimental class that used learning video media was 76.40. The average score for the control class that used the textbook was 71.80. Based on the calculation of the t test (t-test), tcount is 2.52, whereas ttable is at a significant level of α 0.05 = 2.02. When compared, so tcount > ttable is 2.52 > 2.01. Which means that H1 is accepted. Thus, the use of learning video media has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of Class VIII students in Social Sciences Subjects at SMP N 39 Padang.
