Abstract

This study aims to develop a system of SMS gateway, knowing functionality, usability and performance of the SMS gateway in the view students. Half the value of information announcements are usually made conventional. It is considered to be ineffective and inefficient to meet the needs of students. The procedure of this study using the method in the process SMS-based web application design using stages in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), namely the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The tests were conducted to analyze the quality of software functionality, usability, and efficiency. Function test results that have been made for all applications web and SMS functions in accordance with sub-characteristics functionality. The results of usability testing is an application designed for 88.75 % and included in the excellent category. The results of testing the efficiency of the process auto reply SMS to ask for the data is 3.26 minutes / SMS. This system is efficient in terms of time to obtain information on the value of students every semester.Keyword: SMS Gateway, Gammu

Abstract

With the desktop widgets and Internet technologies are more advanced, it can be used to obtain information regarding the weather that has been going on and to know the temperature and the temperature of a region. Useful for more accurate delivery of information to the public for the purposes of the weather. According Garling and Bieber (2010) Widgets means software that consists of portable code that can be used on one or more platforms. Interface widgets are lightweight and relatively easy to use. In designing the application widget weather widget application authors raised, where the application of these widgets can provide weather information on an area. Where widget applications connected with the data connection on mobile phones that can connect to the internet. Java-based widget applications to facilitate and help people obtain information about the weather that has been going on and to know the temperature and the temperature of an area in real time. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create a geographic information system Bengkulu city flood-prone areas using ArcView. Apply the knowledge obtained during the lecture, especially relating to the development of Geographic Information Systems. To be able to produce a system that is accurate and useful information for the community. Where the research was conducted in the city of Bengkulu BASARNAS. Bengkulu BASARNAS office specializing in Search and Rescue (SAR), is the body that manage the flood of data that is still done manually, using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
