Abstract

Abstract; The study aimsi is minimazing students underachiement by optimizing their emotional intelligence in the teaching process of the fifth graders of Petompon Elementary schools 05, 06, and 07 Semarang.The study used was the Classroom Action Recearch made up of two cycles:  cycle one and cycle two. With the on following results:  at cycles I 16 students performance accordance with their respective potential.Then  in cycle II from 15 students underachievers decreases 11 students or 11 student achieved minimal grade, while 4 student did not. It can be means that by optimizing the students emotional intellegence, underachieveers can be minimized.

Abstract

Education of children under six years is considered a very  important role than in subsequent periods, due to the success of ones life in the future have been established since the early ages. At this time a variety of childrens ability to grow and develop very rapidly. Provision of appropriate stimulation and facilities at this time, will be very influential on  subsequent child development process and conversely, if the environment around the child such as parents, educators, and society does not provide the proper stimulation for the ability of the child, the child may not like whats developing  expected. Therefore, the need for cultural conservation efforts in the education sector and the planting of early moral values in order to develop the character of early childhood. The hope the child will grow into a young generation of Indonesia morecharacter, tough, honest and have integrity that is a reflection of national culture and act suave manners and daily life in the association. Pendidikan anak di bawah usia enam tahun dipandang sangat penting peranannya dibandingkan pada masa-masa berikutnya, karena keberhasilan kehidupan seseorang di masa depan telah dibentuk sejak mulai usia dini. Pada masa ini berbagai kemampuan anak tumbuh dan berkembang sangat pesat. Pemberian stimulasi dan fasilitas yang tepat pada masa ini, akan sangat berpengaruh pada proses perkembangan anak selanjumya dan sebaliknya, apabila lingkungan sekitar anak seperti orang tua, pendidik, dan masyarakat tidak memberikan stimulasi yang tepat bagi kemampuan anak, maka anak dapat berkembang tidak seperti apa yang diharapkan. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya upaya konservasi budaya dalam sektor pendidikan dan penanaman nilai moral sejak dini dalam rangka  pengembangan karakter anak usia dini. Harapannya anak akan tumbuh menjadi generasi muda Indonesia yang lebih berkarakter, tangguh, jujur, dan memiliki integritas yang merupakan cerminan budaya bangsa dan bertindak sopan santun dan ramah tamah dalam pergaulan keseharian.

Abstract

Madrasa is now much demanded by the public. However, getting a quality education in madrasa requires high cost and quality management. By using a qualitative approach, this study aims to analyze the financing management in Public Madrasa Tsanawiyah (MTs) in Central Bengkulu district that focuses on: (1) planning, (2) implementation, and (3) monitoring. The results showed that public MTs in Central Bengkulu district: (1) the Financing planning in madrassas is routinely carried out prior to the following year budget implementation with the following stages: the principals of the madrassa learn the vision, mission, programs and activities in the future, then the principals invite teachers and committee to draft RAPBM. After that, RAPBM is sent to the Regional Office for the preparation of RKKS planning and DIPA proposals in the upcoming year; (2) The financing implementation in school is done after each disbursement, expenditure, accounting, until reporting in each month; (3) The financing control in madrassas is conducted in madrassas. And the agencies that participate in the supervision and internal audit madrasah are Iten, BPKP and the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA) of provinces/districts level.

Abstract

The implementation of school principals’performance assessment of Junior High Schools (SMP)in Surakarta has not been managed in accordance with the management functions of performance assessment, namely: the function of planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring. The statements of the problem in this study are: 1. what kind of management of principals’performance assessment (MPKKS) in Surakarta that has been implemented in Surakarta? 2. how is the model design of MPKKS based on competence in Surakarta? 3. How isthe MPKKS final model based on competency in Surakarta. This study employed research and development (R&D) approach. The preliminary study used qualitative and quantitativeresearch to describe the MPKKS factually. The steps ofdevelopment are conductedby initially designingthe conceptual model which has passed through expert validation by conducting focus group discussionsand resulting in the conceptual model. The model is then tested by experts through limited assessment to produce a model of development. This model isassessed for their effectiveness by practitioners to produce the final model. In conclusion, the development of competency-based model of MPKKS is effectively used in performance assessment to improve principals’competence of junior high school in Surakarta. Recommendation: the parties which concern on the performance assessment need to use MPKKS development, because it has been tested and proven to be very effective to improve the principals’performance based on their competence.
