Abstract

Abstract: The problem of education, especially in Islamic Religious Education Learning is very complex. Among these problems are three things that greatly affect the sustainability of the learning process, namely learning methods, teacher quality, and student character. Aristotle as a philosopher and a figure of learning theory has logical and systematic thinking as a foundation for the evaluation of Islamic Religious Education learning. So this research aims to synthesize Aristotle's thoughts and the learning of Islamic Religious Education as one of the foundations of learning evaluation. This research uses library research methods. The results of this study show that Aristotle's thoughts can be used as criticism and evaluation materials, especially regarding learning methods, teacher quality, and how to overcome students who have bad attitudes.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the concept of muhkam and mutasyabih and educational values contained in both terms. The terms muhkam and mutasyabih are rarely understood by teachers as educators in the learning process. These terms are only understood by those who specifically study and analyze the Qur'an in deeply. Because basically the Qur'an is the main reference in Islamic education. So teachers should understand how the concept of muhkam and mutasyabih and understand the values that can be derived from the classification of Qur'anic verses based on these two terms. The research conducted in this paper is a literature approach. The results of this analysis reveal that there are differences of opinion among scholars in analyzing the holy verses of the Qur'an, especially on verses that fall into the mutasyabihat category. From these differences of opinion, the educational values that can be derived from the existence of muhkam and mutasyabih are tolerance values, mujahadah values, tauhid values, and contextual education values.

Abstract

The problems of Islamic education today are very complex. These problems concern teachers, students, and all people involved in educational institutions. From the many problems faced, it is demanded that there be a solution in the form of policies from the head of madrasah in order to maintain the existence and quality of Islamic educational institutions. This research aims to understand how the formulation, implementation, and policy barriers made by the head of MTs NW Samawa in addressing the challenges and problems faced by Islamic education. This research is a qualitative research with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study revealed that the birth of the policy set by the head of MTs NW Samawa because of the many challenges and problems faced by MTs NW Samawa. The implementation of these policies leads to improving the quality of teachers, education staff, students, guardians of students, and even the general public. Obstacles faced in implementing the policy include a lack of interest in student learning, limited budget to carry out intense training and research for the development of madrasah, and limited time to take a personal approach to provide education to the community.

Abstract

Nama TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid tidak sebesar tokoh-tokoh pendidikan lain di Indonesia, sehingga beliau jarang dikenal oleh rakyat Indonesia khususnya mereka yang berada di luar Pulau Lombok. Padahal TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid memiliki pemikiran yang progresif dalam mengembangkan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Oleh sebab itu penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemikiran TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid mengenai pendidikan Islam. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kepustakaan. Kesimpulan artikel ini mengungkapkan bahwa kunci berhasilnya pendidikan Islam menurut TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid adalah profesionalisme guru, akhlak siswa, dan kualitas lembaga pendidikan Islam. Beliau berpendapat bahwa Ilmu agama dan ilmu umum harus terintegrasi, kemudian beliau realisasikan dalam harmonisasi sistem pendidikan modern dan klasikal yang beliau konsepsikan. Beliau memperjuangkan hak-hak wanita untuk mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan, melepas wanita dari belenggu keterbelakangan. Pemikiran cemerlang TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid dalam mengkonsepsikan pendidikan Islam, menjadi refleksi terhadap pengembangan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia saat ini.
