<![CDATA[Abstrak Program Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) sudah berjalan tiga tahun, namun peserta di Kecamatan Ungaran Barat baru berjumlah 28.673 jiwa. Kecamatan Ungaran Barat merupakan kecamatan dengan cakupan kepesertaan JKN terendah di Kabupaten Semarang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepesertaan masyarakat dalam JKN secara mandiri. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tahun 2017. Jenis penelitian ini analitik observasional dengan desain cross sectional. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel tingkat pendidikan (p=0,008), penghasilan (p=0,010), pengetahuan (p=0,002), persepsi JKN (p=0,010), dan dukungan keluarga (p=0,008) berhubungan dengan kepesertaan JKN secara mandiri. Sedangkan jumlah anggota keluarga (p=0,583), pekerjaan (p=0,285), dan paparan informasi (p=0,190) tidak berhubungan dengan kepesertaan JKN secara mandiri. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah tingkat pendidikan, penghasilan, pengetahuan, persepsi, dan dukungan keluarga berhubungan dengan kepesesertaan JKN mandiri. Abstract National Health Insurence (NHI) program has been run for three years, however participants in subdistrict of West Ungaran has been just 28.673 people. West Ungaran was a subdistrict that has the lowest scope of NHI participants in Semarang district. The purpose of this research was to find out the factors related to participation of society in NHI independently. This study was conducted in 2017. The kind of this research was observational analysis with cross sectional design. The data were analysed by chi square test. The result of this research proved that education level (p=0,008), income (p=0,010), knowledge (p=0,002), perception (p=0,010), and family supports (p=0,008) were related to the participation of NHI independently. Meanwhile the number of family member (p=0,583), occupation (p=0,285), and the explanation information (p=0,190) were not related to the participation of NHI independently.
