Abstract

Data obtained from WHO 2018, family planning is an action that helps individuals or married couples to obtain certain objectives, avoid unwanted births, get births that are desired, contraceptives around the world mostly use Injectables 35.3%, Pills 30.5%, IUDs 15.2%, Implants 7.3% and other contraceptives 11.7%. The use of hormonal contraceptives causes side effects including changes in menstrual patterns, weight changes. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of using hormonal contraceptives on weight gain and menstrual cycle disorders in family planning acceptors in Lambheu Village, Darul Imarah District, Aceh Besar Regency in 2023. This research method is Descriptive Quantitative with Linear Regression approach with Purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 87 respondents. This research was conducted on June 11 to 14, 2023 in Lambheu Village, Darul Imarah District, Aceh Besar Regency, with univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that there was an effect of the use of contraceptive pills, injections and implants on weight gain with a sig test result of 0.066 and menstrual cycle disorders with a sig test result. 0,057. Conclusion There is an effect of using Hormonal Contraceptives on increasing Body Weight with Linear Regression test Sig value. 0,066 < 0,05. There is an effect of the use of Hormonal Contraceptives on menstrual cycle disorders with a Linear Regression Test Sig value. 0,057 < 0,05.

Abstract

Based on WHO (World Health Organization) data in 2021, it is reported that the global exclusive breastfeeding coverage is around 44% of infants aged 0-6 months worldwide who are exclusively breastfed during the 2015-2021 period. This has not yet reached the target for exclusive breastfeeding coverage in the world, which is 50%. Low exclusive breastfeeding will have an impact on the quality and livability of the next generation. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors associated with the failure of exclusive breastfeeding in Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency in 2023. Research Methods This type of research is an analytical survey research using a Cross Sectional approach, Cluster random sampling technique with a sample size of 66 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis with the SPSS statistical program. The results of statistical tests with the Chi-square test showed a p-value of 0.020 <0.05, so there was a mother's age on the failure of exclusive breastfeeding in Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency in 2023. The statistical test results with the Chi-square test showed a p-value of 0.052 <0.05, so there was a relationship between maternal knowledge of breastfeeding techniques on the failure of exclusive breastfeeding in Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency in 2023. The statistical test results with the Chi-square test showed a p-value of 0.032 <0.05, so there was a relationship between maternal employment and the failure of exclusive breastfeeding in Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency in 2023. The statistical test results with the Chi-square test showed a p-value of 0.031 <0.05, so there was a relationship between breastfeeding experience and the failure of exclusive breastfeeding in Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency in 2023. The statistical test results with the Chi-square test showed a p-value of 0.069 <0.05, so there was no relationship between the support of health workers on the failure of exclusive breastfeeding in Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency in 2023. The statistical test results with the Chi-square test showed a p-value of 0.050 <0.05, so there was a relationship between family support for the failure of exclusive breastfeeding in Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency in 2023. Conclusion There is a relationship between maternal age, maternal knowledge of breastfeeding techniques, maternal employment, breastfeeding experience, family support on the failure of exclusive breastfeeding. There is no relationship between the support of health workers and the failure of exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

From the results of research in the work area of the Meuraxa Health Center, 435 pregnant women were obtained from January to December 2022, and pregnant women who experienced anemia were 11.15% of pregnant women. An initial survey conducted on December 12, 2022, found 5 respondents of pregnant women who experienced anemia in the working area of the Meuraxa Banda Aceh Health Center, of the 5 respondents, found 3 pregnant women who experienced anemia due to lack of knowledge of the importance of taking Fe tablets, and 2 respondents of pregnant women who experienced anemia due to low economic factors so that the need to meet nutritional status was difficult to meet. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors that influence the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the working area of the Meuraxa Banda Aceh Health Center in 2023. This research method is analytical observational conducted on June 15, 2023 in the working area of the Meuraxa Banda Aceh Health Center with a population of 70 pregnant women. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis with the SPSS statistical program. The results of statistical tests with Chi Square obtained a p value = 0.000 (P <0.05) means that there is an influence between age and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women, the results of statistical tests with Chi Square obtained a p value = 0.008 (P <0.05) means that there is an influence between income and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women, the results of statistical tests with Chi Square obtained a p value = 0.000 (P < 0.05) means there is an influence between knowledge and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women, the results of statistical tests with Chi Square obtained a p value = 0.000 (P < 0.05) means there is an influence between consumption of Fe tablets with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. The conclusion of this study is there is an influence of age, income, knowledge, consumption of Fe tablets with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women.

Abstract

Tetanus disease in Indonesia is a very worrying disease because tetanus neonatorum has caused the death of newborns, efforts that can be done one of them is by maintaining the umbilical cord, therefore it is very important for midwives to know about how to care for a good umbilical cord, one of which uses topical breast milk. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors associated with midwives' knowledge of umbilical cord care using topical breast milk therapy at the Banda Aceh City Health Center in 2023. This research method is analytic with a Cross Sectional approach with Purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 66 midwives. This research was conducted from May 30 to June 19, 2023 with univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi square test. The results showed that of the 66 respondents most had sufficient knowledge as many as 24 respondents (36.4%) with a p value of 0.002 information, 0.004 tenure, 0.008 education and 0.006 age. Conclusions and suggestions there is a relationship between information, working period, education and age with knowledge about topical breast milk. It is expected for respondents to increase knowledge and motivation by digging up information about topical breast milk.
