Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study were to (1) describe about form motif which there is on batik Tebo, (2) describe about composition motif which there is on batik Tebo, (3) describe about meaning motif which be contained on motif batik Tebo. The data of this study is the motif Tebo. The data source of this research is primary data and secondary data were spoken directly by informants as the original speakers. Data collected by the data collection techniques used were observation (observation), interviews and documentary study. The findings of the study are five Tebo batik motifs rebung nyengum, bambu runcing, bungo muko macan, serat kayu rengas and sialang rajo. Kata kunci: Motif, Bentuk, Komposisi, Makna Batik,Tebo

Abstract

Abstract This research is proposed to describe: (1) Describing the placement of motif which is implemented to the songket balapak and songket batabua. (2) Describing repetition technique which is used in songket balapak and songket batabua. (3) Describing structure material which is used in songket balapak and songket batabua. The data of this research was collected from each area, Pandai Sikek and Silungkang. The resource of this research is from the data documentation from the informant. The technique of data collection of this research was from focused interview and documentation. Research findings are, first, motif placement on Songket Balapak and Batabua is located into three parts, head, body and edge. Second, repetition technique that is done on both Songket is horizontal and vertical pattern repetition. Third, both of Songket use golden line, yet Songket Pandai Singkek use more golden line. Kata Kunci:  Songket, Balapak, Batabua, Silungkang dan Pandai Sikek

Abstract

Abstract This final project is suppofed to visualize Indonesian politicians into caricature work. Politicians are people who has big impact to the social life comes from attitude, characters even its habit. Some of the politicians that will be covered in caricature work titled: 1). Gus Dur, 2). Habibie, 3). JUsuf Kalla, 4). Aburizal Bakrie, 5). Soekarno, 6). Soeharto, 7). SBY, 8). Surya Paloh, 9). Marzuki Alie, 10). Anas Urbaningrum. Abstract

Abstract Minangkabau wedding rich in visual variations. As the center aisle, District Lubuk Begalung deemed to know and be able to answer the research objectives, describing 1) Variations in raw material 2) color variations. 3) Variations in the arrangement of elements weddings. Descriptive qualitative research method. Sources of data in the form of oral testimony from informants and literature library. The procedure of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentary study. Data were analyzed by performing data reduction, display and conclusion. Checking the validity of the findings made ​​by the technique of triangulation. Based on the results of data found that: 1) the basic ingredients of the aisle velvet, sateen fabric, lame, spoonhard 2) wedding colored red, yellow, green, blue, turning to silver, back to the many colors, 3) structuring element of the aisle, ceiling, rectangular, square bagonjong, Osborne-Osborne half circles, triangles, tongues and cancang, payuang one level and two-level, stems wrapped in cloth and spoonhard katorok. Banta gadang mounted single, double parallel and there are no double parallel, wedding chair shaped sofa, wearing the crown, circular and terraced. Box envelope single-legged and more. Based on the findings, it was concluded: 1) the basic ingredients aisle no velvet, satin, lame fabric and spoonhard.2) wedding colors like red, yellow, green, blue, and silver. 3) aisle display varies from langik-langik aisle, Osborne-Osborne, payuang, banta gadang, chairs, and a box envelope.
