Abstract

Sangkanjoyo Village has carried out a diversification program for economic business for non-agricultural businesses, such as the development of the Sangkanjoyo Tourism Village. Efforts to expand the agricultural sector and diversify the economy towards the tourism industry are in dire need of supporting infrastructure, including information and communication technology. Internet is one of the most popular technologies in Sangkanjoyo Village. However, unstable internet connectivity is still a significant obstacle for Sangkanjoyo village. Therefore, it is necessary to procure and optimize the procurement of internet networks. The purpose of this community service program is assistance to the Sangkanjoyo village community, which is focused on optimizing internet network activities, namely the provision of internet networks and devices. This community service program increased community activity in supporting the tourism village growth program through internet technology.

Abstract

The creation of works as a portrait documentary that aims to show the power of statements, the concept of “BALI BUJA” is an association of several art galleries located around Klaten Regency and the outskirts of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. “BALI BUJA” is located in Tlogo Village, Prambanan District, Klaten Regency, Central Java. The formulation of the idea of the creation of this work is to tell a traditional Javanese cultural performance such as music with gamelan or wayang kulit, using the internet as a means of broadcasting. Balibuja has a compulsory song that must be played in every performance. The creation method in this work is conducting research and interviews with relevant parties by using a portrait documentary and ABC resource theory to get a statement that can be trusted and accounted for. The conclusion of this work is a portrait-type documentary work by raising a community that cares about Javanese culture, abbreviated as “BALI BUJA”, by utilizing internet technology as a means of performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how Galuh Prambanan TV manages its media community when introducing the Karawitan program. A qualitative descriptive method was taken in this investigation. The object of this research is the Galuh Prambanan TV media community which uses the channel from the Youtube application as the primary media. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation—the validity of the data using source triangulation. In presenting the results, the researcher uses the concept of management, which consists of planning, organizing, directing, and supervising. From the study results, the researchers concluded that the program planning of the community media was going well. This was indicated by realizing the initial goals by implementing service goals to the community or community. In the concept of an organization, the manager has also established an effective and efficient work division to facilitate production and collaboration between teams in broadcasting content. Stages are also designated through producers' efforts from the media community in building motivation and creating communities to build motivation and create effective communities. The evaluation process carried out routinely by media managers and those in charge of content shows that the stages of supervision have also been carried out.

Abstract

Hyperlocal media is an increasingly important player in the media landscape, providing communities with targeted and relevant information. This conceptual paper aimed to explore the potential of hyperlocal media as a solution for community media in the digital era. The study analyzed the benefits of hyperlocal media for communities and discussed the key challenges and opportunities facing these media outlets. The analysis revealed that hyperlocal media could foster civic engagement, cultural preservation, public discourse, and community connection. However, the study also emphasized the need to address the sustainability of these media outlets and the importance of exploring innovative technologies and strategies to support their growth and development. This study sheds light on the significance of hyperlocal media in creating more substantial, more connected communities and highlights the need for further research in this area.
