Abstract

The curriculum contains indicators of the success of the learning process, starting from aspects of planning, implementation (core activities) and closing. For this reason, the curriculum requires effective management and development strategies, so that it is adaptive to the times and in accordance with the needs of students. This study aims to analyze curriculum management and development strategies at MTsN 4 Mandailing Natal. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analytical study method. Data collection was carried out systematically through interview, observation and documentation studies. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using reduction techniques (data sorting), data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study conclude that the development of curriculum management in madrasas is optimized by the Head of MTsN 4 Mandailing Natal through 4 madrasa internal strategies, namely (1) curriculum development based on teaching materials must be equipped with references (books) as teaching companions; (2) teachers are required to be proactive in facilitating student learning processes and connecting students with various learning resources; (3) providing adequate teaching aids; and (4) providing direct guidance from the head of the madrasa to teachers in training activities or quality improvement workshops.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning of Islamic basic education in the thematic studies of the Qur'an and hadith, this study is focused on the SD/MI level unit. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The data of this research include studies of thematic interpretations, books and relevant scientific articles related to educational planning in QS. Al-Anfal verse 60 and QS. Al-Hasyr verse 18. The data sources were obtained from credible reference sources from the Google Scholar and Sinta pages. The results of this study conclude that the meaning of planning is interpreted as very important in QS. Al-Anfal: 60 and QS. Al-Hasyr: 18 as the first step in the whole process of life. Furthermore, planning also becomes an accurate “guiding compass” between the initial steps (main capital) and educational goals. Through this research, it is hoped that it will become a reference for relevant research related to rational and systematic analysis of the development of education based on the Qur'an.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The phenomenological approach of the researcher tries to understand the meaning of various events in a certain setting with the perspective of the researcher himself. The use of this approach begins with silence, shown to examine what is being learned. The research was conducted at the Baja Kuning MIS, Langkat Regency, which is located in Baja Kuning Village. The application of the principal's Islamic communication to teachers, staff and students at MIS Baja Kuning has been implemented but has not been smooth and effective. Because in his leadership, the principal issued policies using downward communication, meaning that communication flows from superiors to subordinates. Likewise policies regarding lesson planning, implementation and evaluation of learning, school principals in the application of Islamic communication tend to use authoritative and consultative benevolent systems. Where in this pattern, sometimes the principal uses one-way communication, sometimes the principal as a place for consultation from subordinates, a place to issue/plan all ideas, opinions and ideas for the progress of the school.
