Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of work competence, work motivation, work environment and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Gorontalo City PUPR Office. The total population sampled in this study was 80 with data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing. The research instrument used in this study is in the form of a liktert scale. The results showed that the influence of competence, motivation, work environment and job satisfaction combined on performance was 27.8%. The remaining 72.2 (100% - 27.8%) was influenced by other factors. In other words, the variability of performance that can be explained using variables of competence, motivation, work environment and job satisfaction is 27.8%. It was concluded that simultaneously competence, work motivation and job satisfaction together have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Gorontalo City Public Works and Spatial Planning Office.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of emotional intelligence, work competence, education level, work motivation and understanding of good governance on the performance of individual employees of the Pohuwato District Inspectorate. The data collection method used in this study was to distribute questionnaires which were measured using a Likert scale. The analytical method used is quantitative analysis with multiple linear regression models. The results showed that (1) emotional intelligence has a significant positive effect on performance. (2) Work competence has no effect on performance (3) Education level has no effect on performance. (4) Work motivation has a positive effect on performance. (5) The understanding of good governance has no effect on the performance of the Pohuwato Regency Inspectorate Work Unit Employees.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the Influence of Recruitment, Placement, and Personnel Maintenance on the Performance of Police Members in the Gorontalo Regional Police. This study is an associative research with a quantitative approach. Data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. Sampling was done by census involving the entire population as research samples. The results showed that partially recruitment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of police members in the Gorontalo Regional Police, placement has a positive and significant effect on the performance of police members in the Gorontalo Regional Police, personnel maintenance has a positive but not significant effect on the performance of police members in the Gorontalo Regional Police simultaneously recruitment, placement, and personnel maintenance have a positive and significant effect on the performance of police members in the Gorontalo Regional Police.
