Abstract

The type of this research is a survey research and uses quantitative descriptive analysis. This research is conducted to obtain a description of the social care attitude of elementary school students which is one of the 18 national character values that is essential for students to have. The goal of this research is to describe the social care level of elementary school students. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire with a likert scale. The population of this research is elementary school students in Kecamatan Kalideres and the samples are from SDN 03, SDN 09, dan SDN 12 with a total of 79 students. Samples is selected randomly. This research is conducted online considering the conditions of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Data is collected through the help of the google form application by focusing on social care variable that had been theoretically validated by two experts in the field of elementary school. Furthermore, the data is analyzed using descriptive statistics with the help of the excel program. The result of the data shows that the level of social care of students is mostly in the high category with a percentage of 64%.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang sikap peduli sosial siswa sekolah dasar yang sebagai salah satu dari 18 nilai karakter bangsa yang penting untuk dimiliki siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan tingkat kepedulian sosial siswa sekolah dasar. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket atau kuisioner dengan skala likert. Adapun populasi penelitiannya adalah siswa SD di Kecamatan Kalideres dan sampelnya berasal dari SDN 03, SDN 09, dan SDN 12 dengan jumlah 79 siswa. Sampel dipilih secara random. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara daring mengingat kondisi Pandemi Covid-19. Data diambil melalui bantuan aplikasi google formulir dengan berfokus pada variabel peduli sosial yang telah divalidasi teoritik oleh dua ahli di bidang sekolah dasar. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik desktiprif bantuan program excel. Hasil data menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepedulian siswa paling banyak berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 64 %.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Flipped Classroom learning model on critical thinking skills in learning grade V science at SDN Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. The research method used is an experiment with a two group post test only design. The samples in this study were 22 experimental class students and 22 control class students. The data analysis used to analyze the data from this study was the t test. Based on the results of the research data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. This is evidenced by the results of the t test calculation obtained tcount of 5.31 while the t table is 1.68. Therefore, it can be concluded that it is greater than (5.32 > 1.68). This shows that (H0) is rejected and (H1) which states that there is a significant influence on the use of the problem-based flipped classroom learning model on the ability to think critically in science is accepted. Thus, the problem-based flipped classroom learning model has a positive influence on the critical thinking skills of science class V at SDN Kramat Pela 07, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.
