Abstract

ABSTRAK Pakan yang sesuai dengan tingkat kebutuhan nutrisi dan memiliki nilai kecernaan yang tinggi dapat mendukung pertumbuhan optimum dari ikan.  Papain merupakan enzim protease dari getah papaya yang mampu meningkatkan daya cerna dan penyerapan protein oleh ikan atas pakan yang dikonsumsi, sehingga meningkatkan pemanfaatan pakan oleh tubuh.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh papain dalam pakan buatan terhadap tingkat pemanfaatan protein pakan dan pertumbuhan lele dumbo (Clarias gariepinus).  Variabel yang dikaji meliputi nilai efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan (EPP), protein efisiensi rasio (PER), laju pertumbuhan relatif (RGR), dan kelulushidupan (SR). Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan yaitu perlakuan A (papain dosis 0%), B (papain dosis 0,75%), C (papain dosis 1,5%), dan D (papain dosis 2,25%).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan D memberikan nilai EPP dan PER tertinggi (P<0,05), yaitu masing-masing sebesar 62,83±3,48 dan 1,97±0,11%.  Nilai RGR pada perlakuan D, B, dan C adalah sama (P>0,05), namun lebih tinggi bila dibandingkan dengan perlakuan A.  Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa papain dalam pakan mampu meningkatkan nilai EPP, PER, dan RGR pada benih lele dumbo (C. gariepinus).ABSTRACT The fish feed that matched with nutritional requirement and has high value of digestion values will be able to promote optimum growth of fish.  Papain is protease enzim from papaya sap.  It is able to increase the digestion rate and protein absorption of the feed consumed, so it increase the feed utility by the fish. The purpose of the research was to observe the effects of dietary papain on dietary protein utility rate and growth of the African catfish (C. gariepinus).  The variables measured were feeding efficiency (FE) value, protein efficiency ratio (PER), relative growth rate (RGR), and survival rate (SR).  This research use completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replicates, i.e. treatment A (0% papain), B (0.75% papain), C (1.5% papain), and D (2.25% papain). Data showed that the treatment D resulted on the highest values on FE and PER (P<0.05), that were 62.83±3.48 and 1.97±0.11%.  The value of RGR in treatments D, B, and C were similar (P>0.05), but was higher than treatment A.  It was suggested that the used of papain in practical diet was able to increase the FE, PER, and RGR values for the African catfish fingerlings (C. gariepinus).

Abstract

A good bleaching process need to be seen from its time distance, the longer time process to done the better result will release. The aim of this research is to know the influence of apple extract in different time for bleaching process (tooth whitening), that used as an alternative materials for tooth whitening. Design of this research is laboratory experimental, by using 15 tooth specimen and Rome Beauty apple extract of 5 0%, 100% and aqudes as negative control. Three groups have given diflerent continue treatment, they are groups of soaked 24 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours with concentration of extract 50% and 100%. Afier soaked, the changing colour value would be observed by using spectrophotometer:Research result show that value degree of change of colour before and after soaked with apple extract 50% and 100% with group of soaked 24 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours. Based on paired T-Test result showed that there was changing of tooth colour that turn into whiten Based on Friedman Analysis result show that P=0.324 (p 0,05), which means that there was not significant influence time in tooth whitening changing with apple extract in tooth whitening process with time 24 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours with extract concentration 50% and 100%. Several factor influence the result, such as too short time distanceso that the calculation of statistic did not show any significant changing the sample is fewer so that there was not influence in calculation of statistic.

Bleaching is an oxidation process that involve free radicals through release electron. Bleaching material is hydrogen peroxide (H202). Apple contains ellagic acid, caffeic acid, klorogenic. Apple tissue has peroxidase that can be change into hydrogen peroxide with to help katalase. The aims of this research are to know the influence of apple extract on different concentration, so that can be used as alternative bleaching material.Subjects of this research consist of 20 teeth they are insisivus, caninus and premolar. This research used Rome Beauty Apple fruit extract with 10%, 3 0% and 50% concentration. The research are by doing degree measurement of color teeth changing with spectrophotometer on before and after inundate. Five teeth inundated on the apple extract with 10%, 3 0%, 50% concentration and the water as negative control for 96 hour: This research analysis used paired t-test and kruskal-wallis test.Results of paired t-test before and after of inundate on 10% concentration is p=0, 003 (p 0, 05) value, 30% concentration is p=0,006 (p 0, 05) value, and 50% concentration is p=0,099 (p 0,05) value. Results of Kruskal-Wallis test on the different value of inundate before and after is p=0,961 @ 0,05) value. Rate value on 10% concentration is 8, 30% concentration is 7,6 and 50% concentration is 8,6.Results of this research showed that there are different of color teeth changing to be whitener (lightner) between 10%, 30%, and 50% concentration but it is not fully significant. Result of rate value concluded that whitening of teeth on material bleaching with 50% concentration more affective than 10% and 30% concentration.

Abstract

Apple consist of some chemical compound like ellagic acid and quinon. Apple tissue also has peroxidase that can be change into hydrogen peroxide with to help catalase. Hydrogen peroxide is on chemical compound that usually used for tooth whitening (bleaching). Ellagic acid also can be used for tooth whitening with the similiar chemical reaction of hydrogen peroxide. This research is to know do apple extract (Malus Sylvestris) have eflect to the degree of tooth colour changing of bleaching process.The design of this research is laboratory experimental an in vitro with 15 non vital tooth as sample. This research use apple extract 100% (test group), hydrogen peroxide 10% (positive control group), and aquades (negative control group). Those 3 materials were put into 3 different glasses with 30 ml volume and each 5 tooth were inserted into each glass. The tooth lighted with spectrophotometer before the soaked. Then tooth were soaked for 96 hours (4 days). After the soaked, the tooth lighted again for counting the degree of tooth colour change based on the result from the spectrophotometer.The result of the statistic test use paired t-test shows that there was significant differences in tooth colour change in three of the test. Value from apple extract 100%p=0, 02, hydrogen peroxide I 0%p=0, 00 and aquades p=0, 03 (p 0, 05). Based on the statistic result, can concluded that apel apple extract can the degree of tooth colour change or changing oftooth colour to be whiter (brighter), after soaked for 96 hours (4 days). Acid component in the apple use in high concentration and long time can damage tooth email and tooth porosity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta memperoleh informasi mengenai pola asuh orang tua terhadap kemampuan membaca siswa disleksia kelas 1 pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri Cisaat Gadis. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan secara deskriptif dan yang menjadi bahan dasarnya ialah studi literatur. Populasi penelitian adalah 28 siswa kelas 1 A tahun ajaran 2020/2021 dengan sampel yang akan dijadikan penelitiannya yaitu 2 orang siswa yang sudah lancar membaca dan siswa yang mengalami disleksia. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan anak mengalami disleksia adalah pola asuh dari kedua orang tua siswa yang kurang memberikan perhatian kepada anak nya untuk membimbing dalam belajar. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa siswa yang mengalami disleksia mendapatkan pola asuh yang kurang mendukung serta kurang mendapatkan perhatian dari orang tua nya. Lain halnya dengan siswa yang sudah lancar membaca, mendapatkan perlakuan yang baik dari orang tua nya serta mendapatkan dukungan untuk anak tersebut dalam belajar baik di rumah maupun di sekolah.

Abstract

Happiness is not only related to money or wealth, but it can be influenced by religion. This article has a focus and purpose of exploring the views of the Indonesian and Singaporean people regarding the notion of happiness. This article also aims to see how respondents know the understanding of religion, the causes of human hearts that are sad or happy, and know the scientific basis of religion as a path to happiness. Also, to know how to be religious to achieve happiness. Qualitative and quantitative research is the research methods used in this paper—material obtained from guidelines, articles, and survey results. This paper's result is that human life's primary goal is to achieve prosperity and happiness in this world and the hereafter. The achievement of these two main goals must be based on religion because happiness belongs only to Allah. The results showed an influence between Islamic religious activities carried out on the happiness of the millennial generation in Indonesia and Singapore. Humans must uphold religious values to achieve this happiness because religion gives meaning to life. Happiness refers to a healthy heart to relate to Allah SWT as the owner of life. Being close to Him can make a heart calm and happy.

Abstract

Dental and oral health issues are an important concern in health development, one of which is caused by vulnerable groups of school-aged children from dental health disorders. School age is age important in growth and physical development of the child. This period is also known as a critical period because at this time the children start developing habits that usually tend to settle into adulthood. One of them is the habit of maintaining oral hygiene. This research aims to find out the level of knowledge on oral health and the level of oral hygiene elementary school children. This research use analytic observational approach cross sectional (cut the latitude) is a design by doing observations at the same time. This research was carried out in primary schools of the country Tuguran sub-district of Sleman Regency Limestone Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Total sample of 60 children of class III, IV, and V were taken with purposive sampling method. Data collection using the questionnaire and examination of oral hygiene. Data analysis techniques using correlation analysis Pearson Product Moment test. The number of class III, IV, and V SD Negeri Tuguran have the level of knowledge on oral health good categories as many as 51.7% and level of oral hygiene medium category as much as 55%. The results of the calculation of statistical analysis with Pearson Product Moment test by using a confidence level of 95% (? = 0.05) obtained results of ?-value = 0.000, because ?-value < ? then the Ho rejected and accepted Ha. There was a relationship of the level of knowledge on oral health with the level of oral hygiene in elementary school children.

Abstract

Ikan Patin (Pangasius sp.) merupakan komoditas air tawar yang memiliki nilai ekonomis penting dalam ruang lingkup akuakultur. Kualitas air menjadi salah satu perhatian utama para pembudidaya karena ikan patin merupakan salah satu jenis ikan yang banyak menghasilkan limbah budidaya. Hal tersebut tentu berpengaruh  terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan patin yang dibudidayakan. Probiotik merupakan mikroorganisme yang memiliki kemampuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas perairan, memicu pertumbuhan dengan meningkatkan kemampuan sistem pencernaan dan meningkatkan nilai kelulushidupan pada patin. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan probiotik dengan dosis yang berbeda dalam media pemeliharaan terhadap kualitas air, pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan benih patin. Volume wadah yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 Liter. Ikan uji yang digunakan adalah benih patin berukuran 5-7 cm dengan bobot rata-rata 1,99±0,01 g/ekor. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali pengulangan. Perlakuan A tanpa pemberian probiotik/kontrol, perlakuan B dengan dosis 1 ml/L, perlakuan C 2ml/L, dan perlakuan D 3ml/L. Hasil penilitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan probiotik dalam media pemeliharaan benih patin memberikan pengaruh yang nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kualitas air, pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan benih patin. Perlakuan terbaik pada perlakuan D dosis 3ml/L dengan nilai amonia dan nitrit terendah yaitu 0,093±0,028 mg/L dan 0,040±0,018 mg/L. Nilai pertumbuhan terbaik yaitu bobot mutlak 8,44±0,09 g, nilai SGR 3,94±0,03 %/hari, FCR 1,77±0,06 dan SR 83,3±0,58%. Hasil studi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi dasar mengenai efektifitas penggunaan probiotik dalam memperbaiki kualitas air pada budidaya skala komersil.
