Abstract

The human body needs a balanced diet to maintain overall health and well-being. Among the important food groups, vegetables play a key role in providing essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals that promote health. The purpose of this study is to investigate the importance of vegetable consumption on body health. A comprehensive review of the available literature found that eating vegetables has many benefits for the body, including reducing the risk of chronic diseases, improving digestion and strengthening the immune system. The results of this study highlight the importance of adding vegetables to the diet to maintain optimal health.

Abstract

English is one of the foreign languages that needs to be mastered to facilitate a person in communicating between countries. Difficulties that are often found in the process of learning English in elementary schools are vocabulary mastery. The original purpose of this study is to find out more about what forms of difficulties experienced by students in vocabulary domination material, find out what factors cause difficulties in vocabulary domination, and find out solutions to handle it.   The researcher used qualitative research methods. The results share that there are many forms of difficulties experienced by elementary school students in mastering English vocabulary, including students who are not familiar with the use of English dictionaries, students lack understanding of English vocabulary in the material presented, students are not accustomed to using English in everyday life, students cannot mention vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms in writing, and students have not been able to write synchronous words with perfect spelling. The difficulties that occur are caused by internal factors as well as external factors.  Efforts that can be made by the teacher to increase students' mastery of English vocabulary are by using media or learning methods such as the Running Dictation method, picture word domino card media, charades game method, Flash Card media, and TPR storytelling method.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify students’ perception towards English speaking ability. The researcher  used  descriptive  qualitative  research  as  the  method  in  this  study. The  Observation  and interview wereused as the instrument. To increase the validity of the data, field note was used to support  the  methodology  of  the  research.  After  analyzing  the  data,  the  researcher  found  thatthe students’ perception toward English speaking ability is various. They realizedthat  speaking  is  an important  skill  in  English  to  be  mastered  well.  They  argued  that  speaking  is  important  skill  to communicate  each  other  especially  as  the  International  and  global  language  used  in  the  world. Unfortunately,  most  of  them  could  not  speak  English  well  and  fluently,  and  many  students  also considered  that  speaking  is  difficult  to  be  mastered  because  of  some  aspects  such  as  limited vocabulary,  less  understanding  of  grammar  and  also  the  pronunciation  which  cannot  be  well.  The  result  also  showed  that  there  are  some  themes  drawn  from  the  interview,  namely students’ difficulties, students’ expectation and need of teacher’s assistance

Abstract

English is one of the languages of communication used all over the world. Up-to-date information in the fields of science, technology, politics, education, health, economics, and other fields is always written in foreign languages, especially English. In the era of globalization and free markets, all individuals must be able to compete for reliable resources. The role of English is so important that learning English should be an individual investment to achieve a bright life. But in reality, there are still many students, especially EFL learners, who have difficulty understanding English due to a lack of practice in daily life.
