Abstract

Car as a vehicle has a suspension on the wheels that connect the body with the road surface. The suspension is arranged in such way as to ensure the comfort in driving even on uneven road surfaces or damaged road surfaces. Because of the changes in road surface, it is very important to make adjustments to the suspension. The car suspension is adjusted using Neuro-Fuzzy Adaptive PID Control System so that the performance of the suspension can be improved in ensuring user comfort by reducing vibrations in the car body. Improved performance can be seen in the results of the suspension setting, which can suppress the movement of the car body because of the change in road surface more than 80%.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi robot untuk menggantikan pekerjaan manusia semakin banyak digunakan dewasa ini serta dikombinasikan dengan teknologi computer vision agar lebih memudahkan pekerjaan pun terus dikembangkan oleh para peneliti. Metode Haar Cascade sebagai metode pengenalan suatu gambar atau bentuk dalam computer vision yang telah terlebih dahulu dilatih untuk mengenali suatu bentuk digunakan untuk dapat mengenali bentuk instruksi tangan berupa kepalan tangan dan telapak tangan. Hasil dari pengenalan bentuk kepalan dan telapak tangan diteruskan menjadi instruksi untuk lengan robot berbasis arduino lewat serial port sehingga lengan robot akan melakukan gerakan sesuai dengan perintah dari pergerakan tangan yang dikenali. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan robot lengan dapat melakukan gerakan sesuai dengan instruksi tangan yang ditangkap oleh kamera dan menunjukkan performansi yang baik sejak instruksi ditangkap oleh kamera dan dijalankan oleh robot lengan.

Abstract

With the limited number of nurses compared to the number of patients in a health center, a monitoring system is needed. A computer vision-based patient bed monitoring system was created to assist nurses in supervising patients so as to minimize the risk of falling out of bed. The Haar cascade method is used as a method in computer vision to identify the sleep position of the patient captured by camera. The Haar cascade classifier is trained to recognize the patient’s sleeping position so that it can accurately distinguish between patients sleeping in the middle of the bed and patients sleeping on the edge of the bed. The test results show good performance of the system because the system can recognize the patient if the patient is in bed and can recognize the patient’s location in bed whether it is in the middle or at the edge of the bed. When the system recognizes the patient is in a position at risk of falling, namely on the edge of the bed, the system sends a warning message to the nurse and the nurse can determine the next action.

Abstract

Management Information System is a system that is used in the processing and organizing of data and information that has been used to support the overall management processes of an organization. With a good system, the leadership can obtain data regarding work experience, position experience, job performance, loyalty, and other information that can support the decision-making process including employee career development. This study aims to figure out the role of the Employee Performance Management Information System (SIMKP) in the decision-making of employee career development at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Manado. The qualitative research design with a case study approach was carried out at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Manado, from February to April 2022. Data collection techniques used were observations and interviews. The results of this study were there are three stages of the role of MIS in decision making of career development. The intelligence stage helps in collecting the data needed in the decision making of employee career development process, the design stage helps in processing and analyzing existing the data to be used in the employee career development decision-making process, and the choice stage helps in determining choices from various alternatives in the employee career development decision-making process. It can be concluded that there are three stages in which SIMKP plays a role in the career development decision-making process of employees in PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Manado
