Abstract

Covid-19 dinyatakan sebagai pandemi dunia oleh WHO. Kasus Covid-19 mengalami peningkatan dan meluas ke seluruh wilayah di Indonesia sehingga diterbitkan Peraturan Pemerintah nomor 21 tahun 2020 tentang Pembatasan Nasional Berskala Besar (PSBB). Kasus covid-19 paling banyak terjadi pada kelompok rentan seperti masyarakat yang memiliki penyakit penyerta (komorbid), lansia, gangguan imunitas, dan obesitas. Lansia sebagai kelompok rentan yang memiliki resiko tinggi mengalami gejala berat sampai kematian. Tindakan pencegahan penularan Covid-19 sangat penting untuk dilakukan dengan menerapkan pola hidup bersih dan sehat. Adanya PSBB menyebabkan terbatasnya aktifitas yang dapat dilakukan selama stay at home yang dapat menyebabkan inaktifitas dan berpengaruh terhadap penurunan sistem imun pada lansia. Berdasarkan data diatas perlu adanya kegiatan penyuluhan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan lansia tentang pentingnya meningkatkan imunitas tubuh dengan aktifitas fisik olaraga sehingga diharapkan akan meningkatkan derajat kesehatan dan mutu kehidupan masyarakat dalam menghadapi pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Moncongloe Lappara, Kecamatan Moncongloe, Kabupaten Maros, Sulawesi Selatan pada bulan Juni 2020. Khalayak sasaran yaitu warga lansia desa Moncongloe Lappara. Metode yang dilakukan berupa promosi kesehatan dan penyuluhan kesehatan. Kesehatan secara luring dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diperoleh bahwa lansia dapat memahami pentingnya kegiatan olaraga untuk meningkatkan imunitas apabila dilakukan teratur yang dapat mencegah penularan Covid-19. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini dapat pada posyandu lansia khususnya dalam melakukan aktifitas fisik seperti olaraga atau senam lansia.

Abstract

Introduction: Cervical cancer does not cause symptoms at an early stage so that a person does not realize that they already have cancer so that it is detected at an advanced stage when cancer cells have metastasized outside the cervix. Women who have had sexual intercourse are at risk of cervical cancer, so it is very important to take early detection measures through IVA examinations. Purpose: This community service activity is for early detection of cervical cancer through IVA examination. Method: This community service activity is by conducting an IVA examination. This activity was carried out on August 10, 2022. The target audience for this activity were women of childbearing age who were members of the Dharma Wanita Association of the Ministry of Religion of Banggai Regency as many as 22 people. Results: The IVA examination of all WUS was negative and showed no symptoms of cervical cancer. Conclusion: The IVA examination activity for detecting cervical cancer can be used as a health promotion program to facilitate WUS in carrying out reproductive health checks.

Abstract

Introduction: Efforts to handle non-communicable diseases, including hypertension, are trying to be formed based on cooperation and support from all elements of society who care about disease control through Posbindu PTM. Apart from early detection of hypertension, sufferers who have been given treatment are also expected to continue to regularly control their health at Posbindu PTM. Posbindu PTM activities in North Luwuk District include health promotion and services by cadres and supported by North Luwuk Health Center UPT health workers. In North Luwuk District, based on visit data, almost all of them are elderly category of hypertension sufferers. This community service aims to provide education about hypertension to cadres and elderly people with hypertension. The method of this educational activity is by means of counseling using leaflet media. The activity will be carried out on October 3 2023. The target is 35 people consisting of cadres and elderly people with hypertension. The results of the post test evaluation show an increase in knowledge after education. Advice to the target, it is hoped that they will continuously refresh their knowledge about hypertension so that early detection is maximized and they are able and willing to control their health.
