Abstract

Learning is not had to use reference books, books dictate, and various books that fit with the material. Learning methods can hear, see or daydreaming the subjects. How to learn something like that could be obtained by seeing or hearing other people's experiences. Experiences can be gained from the other person will create excitement for learning mathematics and foster good mental, especially those are known as leaders in mathematics and other scientists. In addition, the study by first identifying the correct way of learning can encourage understanding how to learn mathematics is good, able to understand the scientific definition, characteristics, and description of mathematics. So that people will not be wrong to choose how to learn, able to know the strategies and methods of mathematics will have an impact also on our favorite mathematics.Key word: learning, mathematics

Abstract

Student’s mathematic capability is divide into two is that verbally mathematic capability and mathematic capability spatially. Spatial understanding includes capability to think through mental figure transformation. Spatial mindset is different from type of alternative information process suggesting that activity of thinking deductively, logically, and linearly, accessed through verbal system. Many mathematic problems can be solved by picturing solution diagram (spatial solution) or by making algorithm solution step by step (logic-deductive and verbal solution). Arithmetic on adult is located on field of language process in the brain, whereas calculation is controlled by visual spatial system. Solution of spatial mechanic mathematic problem is loved by male child more than strategy loved highly by female child, so that the research conducted by TIMSS suggests that male student has spatial mathematic capability whereas female student has verbal mathematic capability. Abstract

Math magic school is an institution courses that focus on math. Where students learn in a simple, easy, fast and precise. Math Magic special focus for the basic grade students (elementary to junior high) so that the method used more widely to the game. Before playing a game, Brain Gym is usually done in advance to assist students in learning mathematics, after the Brain Gym method is carried out such a game is a game of dominoes and a calculator paper.Keywords: Magic School Math, Brain Gym, Domino Card, Paper Calculator.
