Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed at revealing the effects of training on IgG using Randome Control Group Posttest-only design. Samples used in the study were 30 male white rats Rattus norvegicus Wistar strain which were divided into 3 groups: a control group, a group which was trained the moderate intensity swimming and the other which was trained the intensity exhaust swimming. The training was done at night three times a week for 8 weeks. The analysis of IgG used Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA), while the analysis of data employed ANOVA. The result of the study showed that the IgG among the groups was significantly different (P <0.01). On the other hand, there was no significant difference (P> 0.01) between the groups which was trained the moderate intensity swimming and the control group. In conclusion, the training of moderate-intensity swimming increased the IgG.Key words:    moderate exercise, exercise exhaust, immunoglobulin G (IgG).Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap efek latihan terhadap IgG, dengan menggunakan racangan Randome Control Group Posttest-only Design. Sampel yang di-gunakan hewan coba tikus putih wistar rattus norvegicus strain jenis kelamin jantan sebanyak 30 ekor, yang dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok: kelompok kontrol, latihan renang intensitas moderat dan latihan renang intensitas exhaust. Latihan dilakukan pada malam hari selama 8 minggu dengan frekuensi 3 kali/minggu. Analisis IgG menggunakan metode Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA), sedangkan analisis data menggunakan uji beda anava. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan IgG antar kelompok (P<0,01). Sedangkan latihan renang intensitas moderat dengan kelom-pok kontrol tidak menunjukan perbedaan yang signifikan (P>0.01). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan renang dengan intensitas moderat meningkatkan IgG lebih tinggi dibanding dengan kelompok lainnya.Kata kunci:    latihan moderat, latihan exhaust, imunoglobulin G (IgG).
