Abstract

In driving, the most important thing to be considered is safety. The incident problem can happen anytime and anywhere without anyone knowing it before, especially in Cikarang where the level of incident is quite high. It is very important for the public community to act and respond quickly at the time on and around the occurring incident. Nolong.in application is an exact solution because it can send real time notifications to its users. This response is meant to assist individuals who have been using Nolong.in to help other users who need urgent help when the time of incident in order to prevent unwanted situations. In this research, push notification method has been implemented by using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). The result of the research is the notification click ratio is 90.91% and the click time is 1 minute and 27 seconds. Based on the questionnaires’ results given to the community conclude that Nolong.in application is very beneficial for Gojek Cikarang community's safety.

Abstract

The growth of kids' brain could be optimized by recognizing something. Learning to recognize animals is one of the methods to stimulate the children's brain growth to imagine. Nevertheless, kids tend to spend all their time by playing and could not focus to recognize the animals due to the way of learning which is usually not interactive and not interesting. Therefore, a game application was designed and developed to be used as a way to help children in recognizing the animals. This program was developed as a mobile game application with the animation and attractive display to increase the kids' interest to learn the animals. Beside that, Fisher-Yates shuffle algorithm has been successfully implemented on the game to randomize the images which can be found on puzzles, randomize the answers in image guessing puzzles, randomize animals to choose which can be sold, randomize the foods which will be given to the pets, and randomize the initial position to create patterns on rescue rare animal puzzles. After the implementation and testing on the game application, it proves that it could increase the kids’ interest in learning new animals to 4.18 in ARCS interest measuring index compare with textbook method which only 2.74.

Abstract

ASEAN through ASEAN Economics Community (AEC) 2020 treaty has proposed financial integration via capital markets integration in order to aim comprehensive ASEAN economic integration. Therefore, the need to have a proper prediction of ASEAN capital market becomes a major issue. In this study, we took big 5 ASEAN capital markets, i.e. Straits Times Index (STI), Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE), Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), Jakarta Stock Exchange (JKSE), and Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) to be forecasted using WEMA method. Weighted Exponential Moving Average (WEMA) is a new hybrid moving average method which combines the weighting factor calculation in Weighted Moving Average (WMA) with the procedure of Exponential Moving Average (EMA). WEMA has successfully been implemented and used to forecaste discrete time series data, but never being used to forecast ASEAN capital markets. In this study, we took further action by implementing the WEMA method with brute force approach for scaling factor tuning on big 5 ASEAN capital markets. From the experimental results, we found that WEMA has successfully forecasted all those exchanges. By looking at the forecast error measurement, it gives the best performance on PSE and worst performance on SET dataset among all datasets being considered in this study.

Abstract

Indonesia is ranked the top 8th out of the total country population in the world for the global spammers. Web-based spam filter service with the REST API type can be used to detect email spam in the Indonesian language on the email server or various types of email server applications. With REST API, then there will be data exchange between the applications with JSON data type using existing HTTP commands. One type of spam filter commonly used is Bayesian Filtering, where the Naïve Bayes algorithm is used as a classification algorithm. Meanwhile, the N-gram method is used to increase the accuracy of the implementation of the Naïve Bayes algorithm in this study. N-gram and Naïve Bayes algorithms to detect spam email in the Indonesian language have successfully been implemented with accuracy around 0.615 until 0.94, precision at 0.566 until 0.924, recall at 0.96 until 1.00, and F-measure at 0.721 until 0.942. The best solution is found by using the 5-gram method with the highest score of accuracy at 0.94, precision at 0.924, recall at 0.96, and F-measure value at 0.942.

Abstract

Library catalog is a documentation or list of all library collections. Unfortunately, there is a problem identified in the process of searching a book inside library catalog in Universitas Multimedia Nusantara’s library information system regarding the relevant result based on user query input. This research aims to design and build a library catalog application on Android platform in order to increase the relvancy of searching result in a database using calculated Rocchio Relevance Feedback method along with user experience measurement. User experience analysis result presented a good respond with 91.18% score based by all factor and relevance value present 71.43% precision, 100% recall, and 83.33% F-Measure. Differences of relevant results between the Senayan Library Information system (SLiMS) and the new Android application ranged at 36.11%. Therefore, this Android application proved to give relevant result based on relevance rank. Index Terms—Rocchio, Relevance, Feedback, Pencarian, Buku, Aplikasi, Android, Perpustakaan.

Abstract

Rukun Tetangga (RT) role as the smallest unit in the hierarchical structure of Regional Government is very important in guarding and preserving the norm and values of Indonesian people. However, in the management and services delivery at RT level various problems could be happened, such as the long services delivery time, lack of Government and local RT program socialization, and lack of the committee members support facility. A solution offered to solve these problems is by creating e-RT application that can support the services performance of RT officer as well as a means to distribute various Government and RT programs. The Community Service Program (PKM) was then be proposed and implemented with an eight months-time planning. This program got a positive support, both from the UMN Research and Community Service Institution (LPPM UMN) and the community that become the partner for this program, i.e., RT 06 in Periuk village, Periuk subdistrict, Tangerang City. The final result of this program is an e-RT application based on mobile web app, which can be easily accessed by all community members. In this article, the application evaluation is described by referring the WEBQUAL 4.0 instrument with 80.29% result.

Abstract

Rumah Tangga (RT) merupakan lembaga kemasyarakatan yang dibentuk melalui musyawarah mufakat dalam rangka membantu Lurah untuk penyelenggaraan pelayanan pemerintahan, pembangunan, dan kemasyarakatan di tingkat kelurahan. Sebagai unit lembaga kemasyarakatan terkecil dalam struktur hirarki Pemerintahan Daerah, peranan RT sangatlah penting dalam menjaga dan melestarikan nilai-nilai kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia. Abstract

Bulletin board is a medium for sharing information in Multimedia Nusantara University. However, feasibility study showed that bulletin board is not effective to be used as a medium for information dissemination in UMN. Apart from the user side, the development of UMN campus building also become an obstacle in using traditional bulletin board. NFC technology is a type of short-range wireless technology, which widely been used in developed countries in everyday life. One concrete manifestation of NFC technology implementation is Smart Poster. Therefore, based on feasibility study that had been done, the design of Mobile Bulletin system for implementing Smart Poster with NFC technology and Salt Tokenization method is made. This paper has succeeded to make the design of the overall system architecture and user interaction overview. The proposed architecture design shows that this system can solve conventional bulletin board problem, both for students and administrators.
