Abstract

Kurangnya koordinasi program Stimulasi, Deteksi dan lntervensi Dini Tumbuh Kembang Anak (SDIDTK) dengan masyarakat, kemampuan kader masih minim dalam memberikan edukasi terkait stimulasi tumbuh kembang merupakan permasalahan terkait deteksi dini tumbuh kembang anak. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk melakukan pemberdayaan kader taman posyandu dalam pengenalan alat permainan edukatif (APE) pada ibu balita di Desa Petungsewu, Dau, Kabupaten Malang. Pada kegiatan ini dilakukan pelatihan kepada kader taman posyandu tentang upaya optimalisasi tumbuh kembang anak sesuai tugas perkembangan pada usianya dan APE. Evaluasi kegiatan mencakup evaluasi pengetahuan kader, ketrampilan kader, dan pengetahuan ibu balita. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan pengetahuan kader tentang SDIDTK sebelum pelatihan sebagian besar kurang (40%) dan setelah pelatihan baik (86,67%). Hasil penilaian ketrampilan kader dalam memberikan edukasi kepada ibu balita menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar kader dalam kategori baik (93,33%) dan kategori kurang (6,67%). Pengetahuan ibu balita tentang upaya optimalisasi tumbuh kembang dan APE sebelum edukasi kader dalam kategori kurang (44,44%) dan setelah edukasi baik (84,44%). Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk memberdayakan kader sebagai penggerak posyandu yang memiliki peran penting dalam sebagai educator bagi ibu balita dalam memberikan stimulasi tumbuh kembang pada anak dengan menggunakan alat permainan edukatif sederhana. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong terlaksananya program di Taman Posyandu sebagai upaya mendeteksi keterlambatan perkembangan anak. The lack of coordination between the Stimulation, Detection and Early Intervention of Child Development (SDEICD) program and the community, the ability of cadres to provide education related to stimulation of growth and development is a problem related to early detection of child development. This community service is carried out to empower Taman Posyandu cadres in introducing educational game tools (EGT) to mothers of toddlers in Petungsewu Village, Dau, Malang Regency. In this activity, training was conducted for Taman Posyandu cadres on efforts to optimize children's growth and development according to developmental tasks at their age and EGT. Evaluation of activities include evaluating cadres' knowledge, skills of cadres, and knowledge of mothers of children under five. The activity results showed that the knowledge of cadres about SDEICD before training was mostly lacking (40%) and after training was good (86.67%). The results of the assessment of the skills of cadres in providing education to mothers of children under five showed that most of the cadres were in a good category (93.33%) and the less category (6.67%). Mother's knowledge about efforts to optimize growth and development and EGT before cadre education is in the poor category (44.44%) and after education is good (84.44%). This activity is carried out to empower cadres as posyandu drivers who have an important role as educators for mothers of toddlers in providing growth and development stimulation to children using simple educational games. This activity is expected to encourage the implementation of the program at Taman Posyandu as an effort to detect delays in child development.

Abstract

The era of globalization causes people, especially teenagers, to quickly get information through the internet. It impacts the mindset and lifestyle of teenagers who tend not to filter information correctly and adequately. Misperceptions about sex issues encourage teens to try sex issues without realizing the dangers. This study aims to develop a Sex Education Book (SEDUBOO) as a medium for adolescent sex education. This study uses ten youth cadre respondents to use a Research and Development (R&D) design. The instruments used are expert questionnaires, user response questionnaires, and pre-test and post-test post-test to measure adolescent knowledge related to knowledge of sex education. The results of the study stated that the developed media could be categorized as very feasible, based on the results of the assessment of material experts (90.7%), media experts (94%), and respondents' assessments (94.2%). Adolescent knowledge increased with the pre-test results of 2 respondents in the excellent category and the post-test results of 10 respondents in the excellent category. Media is an essential factor in providing health education. Appropriate media help convey information about sex that can be received appropriately to prevent deviant behaviour.
