Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reconstruct scientific knowledge based on local wisdoms of the Ngargomulyo village people in preserving the environment as a means to instill and enhance the conservation caracter for prospective science teachers. The research is a qualitative study of ethnosains, which means the study of an organized system of knowledge from the culture and local wisdoms of a community. The research subjects are the residents of Ngargomulyo village. The focus of the research is the value of environmental preservation which is manifested in the behavior patterns of the people of Ngargomulyo village. The data collection is done through interviews and in-depth observation. The data obtained is then verified, reconstructed, formulated, and conceptualized into the scientific knowledge. The results of the study indicate that efforts made by the people to preserve the surrounding environment are manifested in farming, raising livestock, forest activities, and sand and stone mining activities. In addition, the activities to protect the environment for natural conservation are also evident from the efforts to maintain spring water sources. The environmental preservation messages are also found on some boards installed in certain places. Keywords: conservation character, local wisdoms, Ngargomulyo village

Abstract

This study aims to develop a mini self-research guidebook based on 4C skills and determine the quality of the guidebook developed based on expert validation and trial results. The method used is RnD (Research & Development) using the ADDIE model. The developed guidebook was then assessed using a questionnaire instrument via google form by media experts, material experts and 28 Biology Education Study Program students. The results showed that the mini self-research guidebook product based on 4C skills was proven valid and feasible. This achievement is indicated by the results of the media expert validation assessment of 91.70% with very good and valid criteria; the material expert 95% with very good and valid criteria; and student responses of 89.02% with very good and valid criteria. In conclusion, the mini self-research guidebook based on 4C skills that were developed is classified as very good and valid and suitable to be used as a source of student self-study. Abstract

Utilization of biodiversity, especially plants as ingredients for traditional medicine is a tradition of rural communities in Indonesia. Villagers know traditional medicine from their ancestors which has been passed down from generation to generation. However, knowledge regarding the use of plants for traditional medicine has not been well documented, proving that this knowledge is only mastered by the elderly. Ethnomedicine study is one solution that can be done to overcome this problem. The diversity of plants used by the community for treatment has the potential as a biological reference source. This study aims to identify plants used for traditional medicine by the people of Menoreh Village and to develop and produce a product in the form of a reference book based on the results of the ethnomedicine study conducted. This study uses ethnographic study methods and 4D Research and Development (R&D) models but only up to the develop stage. Collecting data using the method of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that there were 79 species of plants belonging to 27 orders. The plants most often used are kencur and awar-awar. The most widely used part of the plant is the leaf, the most common processing method is boiling, the dominant way of use is drinking and the disease that is most commonly treated with medicinal plants, namely coughs and colds. good and worth using with revision. The feasibility assessment of reference books by media experts is 74.6% with sufficient eligibility criteria and is suitable for use with revisions. The overall feasibility of reference books obtained an average value of 82.46% with good criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation of academic stress to cognitive biology learning outcomes based on the gender of boarding students at SMAIT Ihsanul Fikri Mungkid. The research method used is quantitative correlational type. The population in this study was class XII science students at SMAIT Ihsanul Fikri Mungkid. The research sample was 96 students consisting of 48 male and 48 female samples and was taken by random sampling technique. The results showed that female had a negative correlation between academic stress and learning outcomes with the "sufficient" category to biological cognitive learning outcomes of -0.447 compared to malewho did not correlate with biological cognitive learning outcomes of 0.253.

Abstract

In the Merdeka Curriculum, planning for learning can be prepared optimally by making teaching modules. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of feasibility and teacher response to teaching modules for teachers on the material of the motion system and circulatory system based on projects based on the Merdeka Curriculum. This research is Research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, as for the stages carried out, namely: 1) Analyze (analysis), 2) Design (Planning), 3) Develop (Development), 4) Implement (Implementation), and 5) Evaluate (Evaluation). Data collection techniques using interviews and observations. The instruments used were interview sheets, teaching material expert validation, material expert validation, and teacher response questionnaires. The results of the feasibility of the products that have been developed in the form of teaching modules from the validation of teaching materials experts are 93.6% and the percentage of material experts is 97.5%. The results of the response test at the implementation stage carried out on a limited basis obtained results on the teaching module of 90.63%. Thus it can be concluded that the teaching module accompanied by the project-based student module that has been developed is feasible to be used by teachers to assist in the implementation of learning.

Abstract

In the Independent Curriculum, learning planning can be optimally arranged by creating teaching modules. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of feasibility and teacher responses to teaching modules for teachers on problem-based excretory systems and reproductive systems (PBL) materials based on the Independent Curriculum. This research is a Research and development (R&D) with a 4D model, while the stages carried out are: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. In this research, development was carried out to the develop stage. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation. The instruments used were interview sheets, teaching material expert validation, material expert validation, and teacher response questionnaires. The results of the feasibility of the product that has been developed are in the form of teaching modules from the validation of material experts by 92% and the proportion of teaching material experts by 97.6%. The results of the teacher response test obtained results in the open module of 93.7%. Thus it can be concluded that the teaching modules accompanied by problem-based student modules (PBL) that have been developed are suitable for use by teachers to assist the implementation of learning.

Abstract

Mendut Temple as one of the historical heritages of Buddhist temple is located in Mendut Village, Mungkid District, Magelang Regency. In addition to its beautiful and sturdy visuals, Mendut Temple holds many moral messages through fable stories carved on the temple walls, namely Pancatantra and Boddhisattva Reliefs. From the reliefs, Mendut Temple has great potential as a learning resource in the form of a reference book. This research aims to produce a product in the form of a reference book on the identification of fauna reliefs and analyze the feasibility of the book based on material and media aspects. This research is designed as Research and Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE development model, this model includes Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research is limited to the development stage. Data collection was carried out by observing the fauna found in the reliefs of Mendut Temple. Analyzing the feasibility of the book using a modification of Sugiyono, namely through a validation sheet for the feasibility of the book adapted by BSNP. The results of the study found as many as 3 classes of vertebrate animals including Aves with 7 orders, Reptiles with 3 orders, and Mammals with 6 orders. The material expert validator's assessment of the developed reference book was 97.82%, for media experts it was 98%. The biology teacher's response to the reference book was 96.25% and the student response was 88.09%. This shows that the reference book developed is very feasible to get used
