Abstract

Abstrak: Penyampaian laporan keuangan wajib dilaporkan ke publik secepat mungkin dan bagi beberapa perusahaan publik di Indonesia hal itu masih menjadi masalah setiap tahunnya. Waktu yang dibutuhkan oleh auditor independen untuk menyelesaikan proses audit atas laporan keuangan dari tanggal penutupan laporan keuangan disebut audit report lag, yang akan berpengaruh terhadap publikasi laporan keuangan suatu perusahaan. Obyek penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah laporan keuangan audit perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2016-2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel dari 64 perusahaan per tahun selama 3 tahun sehingga data sampel sebanyak 192. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif, uji kesamaan koefisien, uji asumsi klasik, dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa financial distress dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap audit report lag, sementara tingkat penghindaran pajak dan audit tenure tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap audit report lag. Kata kunci: Tingkat Penghindaran Pajak, Ukuran Perusahaan, Financial Distress, Audit Tenure Audit Report Lag.

Abstract

A going concern audit opinion is an estimate in a firm's financial statements that can be used to determine whether a company is having trouble staying in business. In this study, the research object is a manufacturing business listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the year 2018-2020. The sampling technique was based on the author's criteria and used a purposive sample approach. A total of 117 samples can be obtained as a result of the sample results. This study's findings reveal that audit quality, debt default, and opinion shopping all have a major impact on going-concern audit opinions.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kasus earnings management yang memaksimalkan kepentingan pribadi merupakan tindakan yang merugikan bagi pihak internal maupun pihak eksternal perusahaan. Tindakan opportunistic earnings management melalui metode akrual ini masih sering ditemukan di Indonesia dalam beberapa dekade terakhir dan dipicu oleh variabel-variabel tertentu. Pengaruh variabel yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah related party transaction, free cash flow dan leverage. Penelitian ini menggunakan 55 perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2015-2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data yaitu uji deskriptif, asumsi klasik, dan uji hipotesis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah variabel related party transaction dan leverage terbukti berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap earnings management. Sedangkan variabel free cash flow tidak terbukti berpengaruh terhadap earnings management.

Abstract

Nowadays, intellectual capital become a very valuable asset on business. Intellectual Capital is an intangible asset that can create value added and competitive advatage for the company. The value added and competitive advatage will increase investors trust that can cause the raising value of the firm. Intellectual capital was measured by Vallue Added Intellectual Capital that consist of human capital, structural capital, and customer capital. The increasing profit was measured by return on asset (ROA). ROA indicates the company abilities to generate earnings (profitability). The firm value was measured by Tobin’s Q. The population in this research using a manufacturing company, especially infrastructure, utility, and transportation listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2013-2015. Based on purposive sampling method, 19 samples were obtained, so there are 57 of observation data. The analysis techniques use are multiple linear regresion and path analysis. The result of this research showed that: (1) Intellectual capital has a positive and significant influence toward return on assets. (2) Intellectual capital has a positive and significant influence toward firm value. (3) Return on assets has a positive and significant influance on firm value. (4) Intellectual capital has a positive and significant influence toward firm value through return on assets. Keyword : Intellectual Capital, Return on Asset, Firm Value, Tobin’s Q
