Abstract

Bioethical issues and the environmental crisis is a challenge in the present study biology and future. On the other hand the demands of quality of professional teacher lies in the creation of a form of praxis humanist and religious education. Both of these are the main purposes of research about coexistence sanctitas and scientia as two traditions that continue to be able to walk parallel to realize the form of religious humanist education. Biology Education at the University of Sanata Dharma is taken as the subject of educational phenomenon that seeks to develop the tradition of scientia through contextual learning biology by studying the dynamics cyrcle of context-experience-reflection-action-evaluation. Through the ability of self-reflective inquiry is expected to deepen the faith of students through the construction of a transcendental consciousness as a human.Keywords: humanist religious education, Biology education, coexistence sanctitas and scientia.

Abstract

A caring attitude is a basic need to regenerate ecological ascetic attitude, which will bring a paradigm for the community to be involved in the movement of ‘nata mangsa’. Pan a caring attitude to the environment should be conducted systematically from individuals, households, communities and societies that are supported by the regulation in favor of the environmental concerns. As a strategy must promote an interdisciplinary approach in the form of synergy between the fields of regulatory, academic and socio-economic sustainability of communities.Keywords: ecological ascetic, movement of ‘nata mangsa’ and sustainability of communities.

Abstract

Traditional peoples order with religiosity and spirituality in harmony with nature, often become vulnerable when the quality and carrying capacity decreases due to the economic exploitation. Diversity of perspectives on the diversity of socio-cultural reality there are many causes for miscommunication and the seeds of social conflict. Conditions of such a society will be increasingly vulnerable in the next collective powerlessness and they will easily become the object of the struggle for economic exploitation. Multicultural education plays an important role in the community to raise awareness of the importance of seeking equality of access rights to live more dignifiedly. Strengthening and revealing of traditional culture values would enhance the collective resilience. The implementation of multicultural education and ethnic identity are expected to become increasingly affirmed. Thus multicultural education is able to contribute to society’s in awareness of equality and rights to live more dignifiedly.Keywords: collective resilience, multicultural education, ethnic identity
